Wenger: Henry Would Only Come Home

With the rumours floating round scaring Gooners that Ol' Purple Nose is about to launch a bid for Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, Arsene Wenger says it will never happen.

Wenger had this to say about his friend. "I don`t believe in that, I don`t believe Thierry Henry will come back to England. That is my gut feeling. But I think if he comes back to England then he comes back to Arsenal."

My instinct led me to the same conclusion, indeed on our site forum I offered to eat my own face should this rumour come true.

It is rediculous that anyone could ever think this would happen. Countless amounts of times he has come out with quotes such as 'Arsenal are the only team in England for Arsenal' and says that he 'Became a fan'. This was never going to happen.

It was funnier when the papers reported that Newcastle was interested in signing Henry! Hahah

You're absolutely safe there Rocky. Henry to ManU would never happen.

It's going to happen. I also "understand" that the hierarchy at Man U is "all set" to continue showing it's affection for former Arsenal players by giving the vacant Assistant Manager's seat to Martin Keown.

He's played for Barcelona tonight so it looks like he's going nowhere.

Come on everyone knows Thierry. Also knows it's just Sir Red Nose trying to look to Spurs like Berbatov wasn't their sole target.
