It's 200 Up For Fabregas

Somehow, this weekend Cesc Fabregas` 200th appearance for Arsenal flew pretty much under the radar. It is remarkable that at the tender age of 21, this young Spaniard has played so many games at the top level for Arsenal.

He made his debut for the Gunners at Highbury in the Carling Cup against Rotherham United in October 2003, becoming the youngest ever first team player for Arsenal, at the age of 16 years and 177 days. In that same competition he also became the youngest ever goal scorer when he netted his first goal against Wolves in December wearing the number fifty seven. 25 goals and 49 assists later, Cesc has matured before our eyes into one of the most influential midfielders in the world.

From his wacky haircut in the Community Shield to the magical goal at the San Siro, Cesc has already left his mark on this club and hopefully he will continue to do so for a very long time. Congrats Cesc on this wonderful achievement!

Really what was Cesc thinking with that haircut? Lol one of the worst cuts Ive ever seen on a footballer!

Clichy is getting up there. He has 151 appearances.

Congrats Cesc, very well done!! I love this picture, the boy still got a bit of a baby face at that time. And David O'Leary was just saying on Sky that it took him almost 20 years to get to 722 games and, in view of today's footballers' loyalty, he felt his record was hard to beat. Quite true, but at this rate you never know, Kolo is on 288 apps already. :)

Yes, Congrats to Cesc, on his 200th appearances for The Arsenal, and like all Arsenal fans i looking forward to his next 200. He has already become a legend at The Grove, and long may it continue!

So how long would he have to stay to get 722 if he were to get 38 appearances a season?
Tom14
14, and 12 if he has 45 apps.

Quality player, in my dream team
