'If It's Football, It's Vital'

End The Season, End It Now!

With the fixtures set the way they are and results going the right way Arsenal sit proudly at the top of the Premiership.

Of course to make our delight doubly delightful, neighbours and general pests Tottenham Hotspur have gone about the attempts to crack the top four by the very strange tactic of being dead last without a win to their name.

With Spurs spending £70M in the summer and Arsenal losing what many thought to be vital players, pundits and fans alike tip Spurs to topple us this season (a tip that has been made for four consecutive seasons).

Being an Arsenal fan I am well aware of how a season can fall apart in front of your very eyes almost instantly and with that in mind I am savouring the moment as anything could change sooner than you think, and also asking the Premier League board of directors to end the season right now!!!

lol - love it - mixed fortunes in North London but I'll not deny you your place at the top cos I too want to see Spurs in deep s h i t!
and look at your goal difference - staggering :-)
You're not too far off that yourself Merlin!! I can't make up my mind what I want to happen tomorrow ... lol ... and draw I think!
Haha great headline Rocky lol.. I really hope to see two draws in London tomorrow, keeping the status quo, that'd be awesome! :D
I'll take the current league table too, thanks. Champions League spot and Spuds going down? Count me in!
Haha at the Spuds. Its reassuring that things dont change that much - new manager, new squad, same old *****e results for the Tiny Totts. As for tomorrow, I'm hoping for a draw in the Chelsea game - points dropped by our rivals can only be good for us, and we need to build a lead before we square off against them. For the Spuds, the usual defeat, pls.
kinda want man utd to win, keep chelsea as far as possible. back to the top, lets hope we stay there this time!
I'd take being out of the top 10 to see spurs go down... although just so long as we get to stay FA cup champions too :-)
You can really see Tottenham came this season, with a point to make. lol
It's a real weekend killer, seeing Arsenal play that kind of football and making such games look so easy! But like Fergie said, better Arsenal than Pool or the Chavs!
this talk from fergie is making me feel uneasy. i am used to fergie talking crap abt arsenal and for him to say what he said is really making me feel like there is something wrong with the universe. if it is one of his mind games then i welcome that. but the compliments he threw our way are really making me think that gergie was drunk/high. finally LETS ALL HAVE A LAUGH AT THE TINY TOTTS. bottom with just 1point. b4 thursday i seriously felt sad for them but then they are still the tiny totts from ****E HART LANE!!!!!
I'm gunning for a Wigan away win this weekend at No Heart Lane. I'm betting that Zaki can turn their back four insane.
lol @ k-chelski,,,a point to make
beware of fergie's comments. its a ploy to make us feel all is well when we really havent got to test our might against the top teams
i come from india, and in our part of the world, the premier league is broadcasted by ESPN & STAR SPORTS and i'm very lucky to get almost all our games live every week. anyway back to my point, the ESPNSTAR team have a certain pundit called "Steve McMahon" the **** from Liverpool & he is a bigger pest than Alan Hansen & the spuds put together. every season, he says Arsenal have no chance, the spuddies will overtake us & liverpool will win all their games. and this season even when we win all our games, instead of giving us credit, he says the other team played poorly. loved the look on his face after stoke held the mickey mousers as he had predicted a comfortable 3-0 win for them..
yeah ...i knw wat lucky means.....all mcmahon talks about is stevie g n liverpooh....the guys not a pundit but a walking taking ad trying to sell the world liverpool fc....maccas predictions are barely ever right.....!
Seven Sisters Road has suddenly become very crowded, as many as 18 teams separate us and Spurs. :)
let me tell u a bit about steve mcmahon, he took over as manager a team in perth called perth glory. now this team has been title contenders nearly every year finishing top two every season. but when steve took over, the glory dropped to bottom half of the table. steve mcmahon is an idiot who is stuck in the good old 80's hey days of merseyside. another idiot is shebby singh. he is a spurs lover, what a loser.
Yep, Let's fast forward to May!
im hoping this is a snapshot of the table in may 09. spurs dead last, bwahahaha. what a bunch of losers. supposed to be kicking us out of the top four?!?
ya but supersof, atleast the things that shebby says, makes sense. mcmahon is a complete bugger. just hear his comments right now at half time between chelsea & united..
Hehe well done Ji-sung Park!
We're top of the league, with the best goal difference, joint top on goals scored (from 5 players, 2 midfielders broke their ducks), joint top on goals conceded. And Spurs drew Wigan at home with no goals, with fans complaining about players underperforming, including Pavlyuchenko (how could they blame a new guy who's been there 5 minutes?!) and Bendtley was substituted haha. Such a fantastic weekend!!! :D
It does not look like Arsenal will stay top and I doubt Tottenham will be relegated.
