The Right Result - An Arsenal Win

SUNDERLAND v ARSENAL - On the line
Saturday 4 October 2008

Arsenal`s title ambitions appeared to be on the line as they faced a second consecutive defeat with Grant Leadbitter`s late dramatic strike at Sunderland. However, an unlikely stoppage time header from Cesc Fabregas and the intervention of the Right Result panel has turned defeat into victory. With the score still locked at 0-0, Robin Van Persie`s goal was incorrectly disallowed. A tremendous burst of speed by Theo Walcott appeared to deceive the referee`s assistant who, it would appear, wrongly assumed the whole of the ball would go out of play.

The Right Result is a 2-1 win to Arsenal.

Even with all these right result tables, there seems to be one constant ....... can you guess what it is? :)

pompeycarpet
I think the fact that LOLLENHAM is still bottom with 2 points. ROFLMAO!!!!!!
nevidimka
The points that the referee cheated us of, is the TOTAL points of LOLLENHAM!! ROFLMAO!!!!!
nevidimka
I also wonder how Blackburn got 5 points - geez FIVE points in 7 games! - more than they supposedly deserved...?!

These right result stats never help. It gets even more depressing when you are reminded you should have won a game you lost points in.

It's ok FU, we've always got Spurs to cheer us up!!
Rocky7
thats why i said like a toothpick...they only have 2 points...i heard it somewhere
anonymous
Yeah, 3pts should have been ours, but we only really got 1pts! And there's nothing we can do to put this right, so we just have to Grin and Bear it!
hackneyval
How pathetic.Get some real finishers,I dont really like your team because you waste many chances.Poor Fabregas, he drives the midfield now alone. Get some strikers who know how to score beside tap ins.It is the wrong result if you dont use your chances.

Rocky....subtle...very subtle... :)

Anyone notice anything about the UEFA Cup draw? Pompey are playing Milan, which means Diarra and Flamini will go head to head in the UEFA Cup. You've gotta laugh really.
Little Dutch
LD, Flamini will have to get on the pitch for that to happen!!! At the moment, that seems very unlikely LOL

Notice how just 7 games into the season, we are the biggest loser to referee's blunder's among the big 4? While Chelsea already a gainer. And also notice how the RR doesnt show that MU potentially gainned unfair points from Blackburn due to another referee's blunder/bias with that penalty that changed the course of the game? It is these little things that makes our life miserable in the end and MU being given a helping hand by the stupid/inconsistant/biased/incompetent referee's of England.

We top the fair play table. How are these points given and by whom? http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/arsenal-top-the-barclays-fair-play-league
