Gilberto Heaps Praise On Denilson

Vice-captain Gilberto has praised fellow Brazilian, Denilson for showing a great attitude and adpating to life in England faster than most.

Denilson, only 18 years old, has been in superb form everytime he has stepped onto the field in Arsenal colours, and Bert thinks much of that is down to his attitude.

'Denilson is a great character,' Gilberto told Arsenal.com. 'Like many of the youngsters he's not scared of playing in the team. It's amazing to see such young players show such great performances, great character and great ability on the pitch.'

'Denilson has adapted so quickly to the system of the team in the short time he's been at the Club. It's great to see.'

'Edu helped me to settle and I am trying to help Denilson feel comfortable, he is enjoying his time at the club, he is enjoying living here and he is learning the language like I had to do when I first came here.'

'I have tried to help him as much as I can can to make him feel comfortable in the Club and he's doing very well.'

over the 2 games against spuds , i thought to myself, what a good player.. strong, quick, intelligent... another class signing who will eventually replace Bert.

Denilson came on for Cesc in the last 10 minutes against Charlton and you couldn't see the join! He played some great long balls. He is also 'rugged' and should be able to do the business against the 'Northern toughies'. He will also be a great stand-in for Cesc when he needs resting. Top rate signing Arsene.

When we beat the Spuddies at our place I was astonished at the stength of the kid. He seemed to be the strongest player out there and had no problems holding any of the other players off!

He is very strong on the ball. Maybe all those years of training with Mr Miyagi is finally paying dividends!

Ah Daniel son. Very good flv.

Just when it seems Spurs have a good prospect (Huddlestone) Wenger makes him look *****e by bringing in another superkid (Denilson). It's a case of 'anything you can do I can do better.' Arsene knows!

Another great signing. Wenger continues to pull them out of the hat!

Denilson has been very impressive so far, it's really no wonder that he's endearing himself to the gooners already. Then again, I really was impressive with some of the other youngsters such as Traore and Diaby as well. :) Go go Arsenal!

Brazilians are the best footballers. I hope Arsene keeps finding these guys off the streets of Brazil!
