We Hate You Usmanov, Oh Yes We Do

Alisher Usmanov claims he has no intention of selling his stake in Arsenal Football Club, unless a time comes when he 'knows Arsenal hates him'.

The Russian billionaire has taken a big hit in the wallet following the latest credit crunch, his Arsenal shares losing a significant amount on the price that he paid for them.

Rumours started earlier in the week that the grease ball was looking for a buyer, a rumour he refutes.

'I'm in love with Arsenal. I have no intention of selling my stake,' Usmanov told The Guardian.

'That may be possible at some point in time when I know that Arsenal hates me. I will make sure this doesn't happen. I have not lost one single share.'

'As long as Arsene Wenger is manager that's not going to happen.'

Well let me help you on your way Usmanoff ..... WE HATE YOU, WE HATE YOU VERY MUCH.

And then die. Quietly in a corner after giving the shares to Arsene himself. *sigh*

How can he possibly not know that we all hate him!??!?! We won't organise a boycott or something Toon style. How can we let him know?

[stands up to hate Usmanov] Trouble is, its not like the Toon one as Mike Ashley owns the whole club, where as Usmanov doesn't, so in effect we would be affecting the other Shareholders with a boycott. How blind did he have to be? i mean he contacted websites to stop any negative press about him being put on for a start, the fact he's had to do that is a signal! We woul need strength in numbers to get our opinions heard on TV which would surely get back to him. But I think that maybe in vein some how.

If he's looking to get the best price he is bound to claim he doesn't want to sell. For him it's an underperforming asset. If he hangs on it may take some time to get a return but he may have few options as unless the current shareholding shifts and he isn't as isolated as he currently appears to be he could find it difficult to find another buyer.

Has the orange one had anything to say on this recently, or has he got the message?
