Mr. Consistent wins Man of the Match Honours

There were a few candidates in my eyes to be man of the match after the Everton game, but to you guys on Vital Arsenal there was only one player who was worthy of the prize and that man was Gael Clichy. He racked up 44% of the vote with his workhorse defending and bombing runs forward that were amazing just like every other game he plays for Arsenal. I'm always glad to see consistent performances rewarded. So here's to you Gael, congratulations on another great match for this club.

Honourable mentions go out to Samir Nasri with 17%, Walcott with 12%, Almunia with 8%, and Silvestre with 6%.

I voted for Silvestre, but I can't argue at all with Clichy

Me too. Mr Consistent indeed. And Mr Lovely. :>

There are a few Arsenal players who can be hit or miss at times but you can rely on Gael to put in a decent performance 99% of the time.

I sometimes think Gael just ain't human.

He will become an absolute legend with this club

Good call. I thought he put in a tremendous performance, esp in the 1st half when the rest of the team looked lost. He took the offensive initiative. Well deserved Gael, winning balls all over the pitch, down the left and in the centre, in attacking positions also.

Well Done Gael, he's Mr Consistent for sure, and I for one am so glad he plays for us.

Clichy for captain anyone? I think he could do it excellently.
Gooner_Vin
He works very hard in every game I have seen this season.
