Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has spoken of revenge ahead of tonight's North London Derby at Ashburton Grove.
The Togolese front-man came off the bench in the last NLD earlier this year but the team was already in the process of getting bashed and the was little Ade could do about it.
Ultimately, T*ttenham went on to win the game 5-1 whilst, despite scoring, the Arsenal striker made the headlines for different reasons.
A mixture of hot tempers and embarrassment got the better of a couple of Gooners and Ade & Nicklas Bendter ended up been pulled apart.
Whilst most Arsenal fans got over the result pretty quickly (although the WHL faithful still haven't, honestly, you'd think they'd won the Champions League) the players are still smarting from the defeat, and in particular, Adebayor.
The Striker says he wants revenge, and even had a dig at T*ttenhams penchant for bringing out a dvd for every little victory.
"That day, they played quite good football. Maybe we were not ready, they took their chances. If it was 2-1, you could have said they had luck but they won 5-1 so there`s no luck there. They deserved to win.' said Adebayor
'For them it was a big event but now we have a chance to take our revenge. We hope the result is the reverse and we can put it in the Arsenal shop on Friday."
It's nice to see the boys are taking this game seriously, we might only be playing the bottom of the league, but this game means a lot to us :)
