Lewis Hamilton Could Teach Arsenal A Thing Or Two

Lewis Hamilton today took his rightful place as the Formula 1 world champion.

In an exhilarating finish to a breathless race that saw the title slip from Lewis's grasp only to have it handed back on the last corner, the Englishman showed the fighting spirit and backbone throughout the entire season (after suffering set back after set back) that a few Arsenal players would do well to take note of.

The 23 year old never gave up, never stopped fighting and always believed.

Congratulations Lewis Hamilton.

Totally agree, star man, great season, never let the unfair penalty points affect him, deserved his first championship, first of many hopefully. Also thought Massa was a gent today, should be a good few years of racing between them. Thanks to Arsneal for giving Villa the chance of taking 3rd tomorrow night as well. Coming down to the Emirates for the first time on the 15th, can't wait!

Yeah I felt sorry for Massa (but not ferrari, I found their celebrating hillarious), he's a cool guy and was genuinely upset. I wish I could give the same respect to the fans at the track. Hope you enjoy your visit to our stadium JF, but not completely of course ... lol

To be fair I doubt Lewis Hamilton would know what to do with a Rory Delap long throw.

Agreed, think Ferrari got the rub of the green this season again so to see them celebrate and then realise was very funny! Should be a good visit and a great match. Will no doubt speak before Rocky and do an interview exchange!

Lol Murph ..... maybe not but I bet he would deal with a David Bentley 40 yard sighter better than Almunia.

But not quite as hilarious as WHL celebrating Robbie Keane's last minute penalty thinking they'd stopped us winning the league. How we laughed.

Not very, whenever a supporter of a club in the relegation zone comes to gloat, one doesn't have to work too hard to sweep their hollow goading to one side. Good luck in your ongoing battle against the drop and apologies for gifting one of your relegation rivals three points.

lol so he tries the smart sarcastic ploy. Cute... Im so offended. shame how you love to taunt others when you cant take a sip of it yourself, now you disguise the embarresing loss to stoke with an emphatic victory of Hamilton. Like i said how does the pie taste?

No sarcasm, Spurs are 19th (potentially 20th come 10pm) after 11 games. The article (which wasn't written by me but hey ho) is actually being used to criticise Arsenal. I can take plenty of it myself, see below an article I wrote called Match Ratings: Arsenal Ladies v Tottenham Hotspur, quite self depricating. It's perhaps a measure of how poor your club is that you all feel it's o.k. to laugh at ANY team in the league when you currently sit 19th having played a game more than the side below you. There again, if your club sees fit to release DVDs of early season draws, then I suppose the fans can hardly be blamed for celebrating failure.

Yeah well done to Lewis Hamilton! I think ATV/ATVO should get him in when they do those celebrity fan interviews. And for Tomf and those who don't think he looks a bit like Theo: Theo once said his family and gf also thought so, and that people on the streets thought he's Hamilton before (of course that's not too bad when it turned out to be Theo Walcott).

if theres one thing my father taught me, when people come to gloat at you, and when people come to put you down and criticize you, they must be so scared of you, because they know what you are capable of, and that means the only way for you to go, is up. i hope our player realizes this.
