Arsenal draw the Pilgrims

Our Carling Cup side looks set for another run out early in January as the FA Cup 3rd round draw gave us a home tie against Plymouth Argyle.

It may also give Graham Stack, a former gunners apprentice keeper currently with Argyle, an opportunity to play against his old team. He isn't their first choice though and is more likely to be on the bench.

The Championship side is currently sitting in 8th place with manager Paul Sturrock back in control after an earlier successful stint almost 5 years ago.

The tie will take place over the weekend of the 3rd-4th January.

That was quick Amos! I'm all for the CC kids to get another game together, can't wait! :)

Kids have to play this one too. They've earne that right.
Rocky7
a time for the kids or could Argyle spring a surprise!
merlin
They certainly could Merlin - Burnley proved that a couple of weeks ago ;)
Rocky7
Yeah that was a warning for our kids who'll also play Burnley in a couple of days. ;)

I hope Wenger puts out the kids in the FA Cup. I'd really like to see more of them this season, as they are good entertainment.
prits
I love the kids' matches. Brilliant football with less pressure, but just as much desire. Great to watch.

i hope AW plays the kids too. they can go all the way me thinks. certainly talented enough!
supersof
The kids have to play. Good quality of opposition for them to test themselves against and they should be good enough to get a result!

I'd like to see the kids play as well in the FA cup. It's better to play all the kids together rather than mixing in first teamers as team has a better understanding that way. The reward for winning the FA cup is the same as the CC, a uefa cup place, tho admittedly it's a more prestigious trophy.
