I don't know what all the fuss is about, van Pizzle is clearly onside .......
Rocky7
Yards mate yards. The fact they are even complaining is just not cricket! (chortle)

funny guys!! I didn't see it again until just now as i was at the other end of the ground but feck me he was a mile off!! But whats done is done! 24 games left to win the league!
Gleeson_23
Well done RVP..must deserve at least a 5.5 marking! ;-)
Frosty B
That comment makes little to no sense!!
Rocky7
Why is that then Rocky? What exactly can you not grasp?
Frosty B
On why van Persie deserves a 5.5 when he clearly played well, and played a vital role in a vital win against one of the leagues top teams. Make no sense, even if it's a joke.
Rocky7
It is a joke, it's when I questioned LD's rating of Van Persie in the previous match ratings when I questioned his 5.5 rating as too low. Just have a bit of fun!
Frosty B
Fair enough - however you can't expect everyone to have read that comment ..... which leaves this one seeming a little bit random!!!!
Rocky7
RVP is one of my favourite players and I was discussing with Tim regarding why he was always so negative on him all the time calling him arrogant and selfish. I'm glad to see his positive write up on him this time, shows he can say it as he sees it.
Frosty B
I'm pretty certain I've read LD complimenting RvP several times over the past 2 seasons when it was merited. So I dont see when he was negative on RvP 'all the time'.
prits
Well, I've only been here less than a month and that's all I've read. It wasn't the fact he was saying he wasn't playing well, it was the personal attack on him as a person, calling him arrogant and selfish and all the other stuff that I took umbrage to...anywyay all water under the bridge. we all want all of our players to succeed...I hope! :-)
Frosty B
If you have only been here less than a month then how can you possibly know whether LD is 'always' negative all the time about RvP? Those of us who have been here a little longer will have seen LD give credit and criticism in equal measure on a number of players where he thinks it's due - often enough to know that his is one of the more balanced views. In any case it isn't worth taking umbrage if one of your 'favourite' players comes in for some criticism. Simply giving your reasons why you think it's unfair should be more than good enough.
Amos.
The fact he (RVP) was LD's player of the month for October (i think) kinda negates the whole argument or point and should put any unfair or irrational comments about bias completely and utterly to bed! Water under the bridge??? Then why would we be commenting on it again unless........
