Young Gooners Going Out & Coming Back

As the transfer window gets into full swing a number of Arsenal youngsters are already on the move.

Arsenal striker Jay Simpson impressed all in the Caring Cup this year and recently signed a new long term contract with the Gunners. He will now spend the rest of the season gaining valuable Premiership experience at relegation battlers West Bromwich Albion. Let's hope he can keep the Baggies up at the expense of Spurs.

Gavin Hoyte, brother of former Gooner Justin, broke into the Caring Cup squad this season and performed well when he played, this has earned him a loan spell at Watford for the rest of the season.

Derby County acquired the loan services of Arsenal reserve striker Nacer Barazite at the begining of the season, Derby have now extended that contract till the end of the season. According to Arsenal.com, Barazite has made 19 appearances this season and has the most assists for the team.

Coming in the other way Havard Nordtveit has returned to Arsenal after a rather wasted loan spell with Salamanca where he made only 3 appearances.

I don't think Senderos has made that many more appearances for Milan than Nordtveit has made for Salamanca. I wonder if he'll be back too?

Man I forgot about Senders. I think Nordtveit's loan was a view to getting him some experience, Senderos' was probably more about getting him out of the way! lol

I doubt that Senderos will ever come back, although he has hardly featured for Milan. I'd rather have him than Silvestre, to be honest. The most interesting of these loan deals is Simpson, coz he's actually out to a Premiership club, and I'd like to see how he fares in the league.

Why sneer at Senderos? OK he made mistakes but he also played many brilliant games for us. He is a proper central defender who reads the game well and attacks the ball well high up the pitch something we don't seem to have at the moment His problem was that too much was expected of him too soon and he had some pretty flakey CB partners. I wish him well where ever he finishes up - I don't think he''ll be back although he would be more useful than Silvestre.
