Gökhan İnler Speaks About Arsenal Rumour

Supposed Arsenal target, Gökhan İnler says he has no interest in joining the North London club.

According to reports Inler was high on Wenger's transfer radar last season as Le Boss looked to fill a Flamini shaped hole in the centre of Arsenal's midfield, however the player claimed he wasn't ready to come to England.

With Arsenal's erratic form this season the rumour was bound to spark back into life again, and we weren't disappointed.

Speaking to Todayszaman.com Inler claims he is happy at Udinese and has no interest in becoming a Gooner.

'I have a three-year deal with Udinese. I am not interested in transfer issues. My manager deals with that. My target now is the success of Udinese. I am happy with the team and am not interested in Arsenal. I run out onto the field and play; I don`t care about the rest.'

Well that told us eh!

Disapointed. He looked like a good player to me. But it's good loyalty i suppose.

dont really think arsenal need another midfielder, its in attack where they are not firing and they need an out and out goalscorer to be playing each week, wenger does not seem to give anyone a sustained run of games, would like to see more of vela
glen9mullan
glen9mullan - are u having a laugh ? dont need a midfielder ?? 2 of our awesome midfield from last year have left and 2 are crocked - of course we need someone in midifeld diaby, denilson and ramsey are just nowhere near capable of providing a level of performance that we need week in and week out at premiership level a midfield purchase should be a priority as up front we have adebayor, van persie, vela, and bendtner fit and in and around the squad with eduardo (and even walcott who can play up front) to return from injury
u-man
glen you are mad, of course we need a new midfielder! Two if I am honest. As u-man said our first choice midfield four from last year is either injured or been sold. FOUR QUALITY players. Any team would miss that. A defensive midfielder and a winger really are a must for us this month and we are possibly looking at getting another centre back if Toure or Gallas leave.
