Arshavin has had a work permit granted by the Home Office today and one would think that is a positive sign that he is going to arrive.

And now Wenger has denied it. I know i am aiming high, but i was looking at the fixtures and there is no reason why we cant win every game between now and the end of March. With home games against West Ham, Sunderland, Fulham & Blackburn and away games to Spurs, West Brom & Newcastle i see no reason why we cant pick up 21 points. Appart from Spurs away, none of those games should be worrying us.

Here's a question on a random tangent (I would post it on the forum but I can't access it at work) the F.A. are going to spend time investigating whether Kalou's celebration on Weds night had political implications, yet they are apparently unconcerned over the extradited Prime Minister of Thailand taking over a Premiership club? Tools.

The FA wouldn't have a clue what 'political implications' are anyway. This Arshaving - thing is it over yet?

LD, how truthful is the work permit stuff? You wouldn't risk the reputation of a newspaper/website and make these things up (unelss you are The Sun or Sport.co.uk)

Yeah Rob, I remember the arrival of Denilson was secured just before the deadline and announced way after...

Deadline's at 5pm on Monday, so I'd chance there'll be no need for late nights :-)
