Arsenal vs Cardiff Postponed

Tomorrow's scheduled FA cup 4th round replay against Cardiff has been postponed due to 'adverse weather conditions'.

By 'adverse weather conditions' I'd assume that they mean it's been snowing like a bastard and we can't get on the pitch.

We'll bring the new match date as and when it is announced.

I can only imagine this will be played on 14th Feb, with the 5th Round tie being pushed back a day until Tuesday, 17th.

If this had been announced before the West Ham game, do you think Wenger would have risked playing RvP at the weekend?
prits
Haha, I'd forgotten about that Prits. It should teach Wenger a lesson to play for the next game and ignore what ever is beyond that. We needed 3 points and didn't get it.
Rocky7
Think Wenger wouldn't have played him anyway, one booking and he missess the yids.
shewore
Shewore I thought RvP's on 3 yellows, not 4? Anyway, now he's got a bit more time to rest. Our stadium is beautiful isn't it, if only we bring back the brilliant football to match it: http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/emirates-stadium-in-the-snow
GoonerLou
According to the official PL site: Clichy, Diaby and Cesc on 5 yellows; Ade 4; Sagna and RvP 4; Denilson, Gallas, Nasri and Kolo 2; Bendtner, Djourou, Ramsey and Vela 1.
GoonerLou
Oops typo: Sagna and RvP 3.
GoonerLou
How come there is a possibility that the Bradford v Darlington match will go ahead tonight yet there has been no attempt to get our match on?
Rocky7
I would love to have another valentines day football game. Would save myself some cash.
paul_ownz
It's Feb 16th now.
GoonerLou
I'm quite glad the match is off, as watching in snow gear would have been just too weird!

But also getting to The Grove who have proved a very hard task as the transport is still fairly hit and miss.
