Henry - It Would Feel 'Weird' To Draw Gunners
Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, says he'd feel a little weird should his current club, Barcelona, draw the love of his life, Arsenal in the quarter finals of the Champions League.
Arsenal's all time record goal scorer spent 8 happy and successful years in North London, forming an unbreakable bond with the city and fans at the same time. The former Arsenal captain once famously said that he felt so at home at Arsenal and in London that he began to think in English rather than his native French.
His love for the club leaves him feeling apprehensive ahead of todays quarter final draw.
'Of course it would be special to draw Arsenal. Everyone knows that. It will be a really weird feeling if we get them because of the love I have for the club and the fans.'
'I haven't had the chance to go back to The Emirates to watch a game since I joined Barcelona.'
'We play on Sunday quite often in Spain and with training the day before and Champions League matches as well it has not been possible to get there. A lot of people are still there from my time at Arsenal - not just players but people behind the scenes who make it such a great club.'
Drawing Barcelona would not only be another fantastic chapter in Arsenal's European journey, but it would also give all Gooners a chance to show their appreciation to one of the greatest players ever to wear the red and white of Arsenal ....... but can't we save it for the final?

I've got mixed feelings about this one. I would love to get the chance to cheer Thierry again, but I would be devastated if he scored against us.

Well we could get Barca in the Final. I'd like to think if he was through one on one again as he was in 06 he'd do the right thing :-)

I began to think in English rather than my native Chinese too lol. Back on topic, yes that'd be really weird. Now I want the weirdest CL Final with Barca! I'm also kind of glad Bobby isn't playing that much for Villareal now. Not sure if I'd really want to see him play against us in the yellow shirt...

Bobby will get a great reception at the Grove, damn I miss him. I don't like drawing Man Utd because traditionally the team that eliminates the holders (assuming we can even do that) do not go on to win the trophy. That's why I didn't think we'd win last season. Villareal should be a great tie, tho. Chelsea-Liverpool? Oh dear -- the football gods have something against the poor football public, imposing on us yet again this atrocious crime against human endurance.

Yeah whats with the draw anyway? A ******** borefest betweent the chavs and the scousers, feels like an annual event these days. Its good that its happening one round earlier though, wont have to watch one of those teams in the semis now.
