'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cascarino Expects Arsenal To Progress

Tony Cascarino, pundit for the New Football Pools says Arsenal should get through to the semi final stage of the Champions League

'I fully expect Arsenal to go through to the semi final after the 2nd leg at the Emirates against Villarreal. The Spanish side will struggle at Arsenal as confidence is high amongst the players. The return to fitness of key players such as Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor has strengthened Arsenal further so I expect them to be too strong at home.

Adebayor is looking like he is getting back to his best and Arsenal have missed that this season even when he was fit. He hasn`t performed how he would like this season but he may have timed his return to form perfectly. You have to say what a goal that was that he scored the other night, superb strength and technique and that sort of thing is unplayable and his confidence will be sky high now. His form could be the difference between winning silverware or not this season.

I fear that William Gallas injury will be a big loss to Arsenal, I have criticised him in the past but when his mind is right he is important to the Gunners. Johan Djourou will come in and will have to do a job but I don`t think he is at the same level just yet.'

"Johan Djourou will come in and will have to do a job but I don`t think he is at the same level just yet.'" I think you will find he IS on the same level, the injured level!
