Happy St Totteringhams Day To Gooners Everywhere

Happy St Totteringhams Day To Gooners Everywhere

As the mighty Gunners fought back from a one goal deficit to crush Wigan Athletic 4 goals to one, their North London neighbours were also on their way to 3 points of their own.

However, despite this victory for the Lilywhites, it wasn't enough to prevent that greatest of annual traditions ..... St Totteringhams Day.

This yearly event occurs when it becomes mathmatically impossible for the inferior boys in white to finish above the awesome Gunners.

And this year we've been lucky enough for this day to fall on an Easter weekend, meaning we can enjoy the occasion for longer than usual by boozing till Monday.

So all that's left for me to do is to wish Gooners everywhere and very happy, and beer fueled St Totteringhams day.

Despite 2 managers, near enough £100 million spent on players, re signing the players from their best ever 5th placed finish. Next year then perhaps.........

Luckys .... unless you're about 25 years of age it's very unlikely you'll be able to remember the last time they finished above us.
