van Persie Wary Of Golden Guus

As Arsenal prepare to face Chelsea in tomorrows FA Cup semi-final, Gunners frontman, Robin van Persie is wary of only one man ...... the Chelsea manager.

Guus Hiddink is currently Chelsea's stand-in manager until the end of the season after 'Big Phil' Scolari was given the boot earlier in the year.

Known in his native Holland as 'lucky Gus', Hiddink is a man that van Persie believes will be picking up at least one piece of silverware come the end of the season.

'The first thing I thought when he came was 'oh no',' said van Persie

'Chelsea are still in the FA Cup and Champions League and he will win something. He is unbelievable. Everything he does turns to gold.

'When I saw him two years ago in Holland, because we use the same physio sometimes, I asked to see his hands. 'He said 'yes why?' I said that everything he puts his hand on turns to gold. He was laughing.'

When your player say some thing like this"Chelsea are still in the FA Cup and Champions League and he will win something. He is unbelievable. Everything he does turns to gold" Then what can I say.Anyhow all the best and please knock out the ManU's and pray for us against Barca.Lets play the Final together we both need that trophy LOL. We can meet 3 times in a very short time 2 already there and one may come.I will be really happy to see Arsenal in the Final.

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say there SB, but no, I hope Chelsea don't get to the CL final. 1) We want revenge on Barca 2)If we don't beat you in the final that means you become the first London club to win the trophy and that's just not on 3) If we can't win it I wouldn't be so sad to see Thierry final get a winners medal, but would be loathed to see cretins such as Terry and Drogba pick up a medal ......... is it getting hot in here or is it just me?

I wanted Barca in the CL final because 1) We need our revenge 2) We wanna show "the King" that the team he abandoned kick his current team that he thought could help him achieve that elusive CL winner medal.

Not just you Rocky. Plus 4) When we play Barca, I want to see Hleb's face on the bench.

Should add, I still hope he looses on Sat, of course!

I really hope Hiddink doesn't stay on past this season. I've always like him, and he's made me get some respet for Chelsea, which just feels a bit wrong really. He's a great manager. He has the same class as Arsene in my opinion. Like AW and SAF he's more than just a manager, he's a visionary and his innovation makes him stand out above the likes of Benitez etc, merely tacticians. I hope he finds a club outside the top 4 and can stay on to pit his wits against AW, SAF etc, for a longer time, as long as its not us he knocks out of the top 4. Obviously, that won't happen, he'll be snapped up by a very big club soon.

Yep, respect to Hiddink. Truly world class manager, and you can see the difference he has made to the Chelsea side. Lets hope we knock them out this weekend. I fancy our chances in the FA Cup the most.

If we reached the final, I'd like to play Barcelona so I can see Hleb not even make the Barca bench. He'll be at home watching it!

lol Right Gkid, maybe not at home! Even if Hleb couldn't make the bench, he'd still have to attend it in proper suit and tie, sitting behind the bench, even getting jealous of subs warming up. So we'd still be able to see his sad face on TV lol... Ooh I'd love that!

Hleb would be just as involved in the Champions League final as I will. We'd both be on our couches at home watching it. LOL

I don't want to see Hleb on the bench...I want to see him on the pitch, being robbed of the ball every time he touches it...I don't want him sitting on the bench thinking he can make a difference if he were involved....rather I would love him on the pitch KNOWING he can't and won't make a difference.......

radarman, don't be a d*ck all your life. Hleb is a top player who was stupid enough to think that he would play for Barca. Get over yourself.

yeah I rate Hleb highly as a player, but it was an awful decision by him to leave. At Arsenal, players shine because they are specifically selected for having qualities that match the team ethos. Most other clubs just by players they like the look of (well, there's a bit more research than that, but less detailed than Arsene seems to do). They get so drilled in to the 'Arsenal way' that when they leave, their adaptation is extremely hard, hence the lack of success away from Arsenal.

Oye, no disrespect, but surely Messi and Henry are better than Hleb?

yeah, course they are JT, but not many teams have that much competition in that position, that's why he was stupid to move.
