*********CESC FABREGAS CHARGED BY THE FA FOR THE HULL INCIDENT********** Looks like the FA are basing charges on the words of people who have lied through their teeth and still cannot get their stories straight. How very unsurprising....

Remember when Andy Todd whacked RvP in the semi a few years ago? F.A. didn't charge citing a lack of evidence. Go figure. Surely this charge is illegal?

The first charge for Cesc apparently relates to entering the pitch at the final whistle. Well that charge is illegal because there is no rule against it. The second is for a spitting incident which has yet to be proved. Both bogus charges, both illegal. Heads have to roll at the F.A. for this, they have just shown that they don't know how to how to do their jobs.

I'll be so happy if Brown takes Hull down the f*&kin' muppet. What do the charges mean if found guilty? A fine or a ban?

Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas and Hull City manager Phil Brown have both been charged with improper conduct. The charges relate to matters arising from the FA Cup match between Arsenal and Hull at the Emirates Stadium on 17 March. Fabregas faces two charges of improper conduct relating to his conduct on the pitch following the game. One charge concerns his behaviour in coming onto the pitch after the final whistle, the second charge relates to an alleged spitting incident. The charges are based on submissions from Hull City and video evidence.

LD is spot on, Cesc can enter the field of play after the final whistle, the FA have no power to act on that, but why let a little thing like the rules get in the way of a good misconduct charge. I thought the RVP And Todd incident was on camera as i seem to remember seeing it......? Either way this whole thing is utter bo**ocks and the FA needs to explain it's action immeadiately.

I find it incredibly hard to believe in this day and age that, if there is video evidence of Cesc spitting, that the F.A. are the only ones who have seen it. It has not appeared anywhere else, was it CCTV footage from the tunnel? Whatever, the F.A. have a duty of care to release that footage, otherwise they're about to open a massive hornet's nest. They're saying that allegation is enough for conviction which is a system so open to abuse for so many reasons. Why don't we get it out of the way now and accuse one player each from Liverpool, United and Chelsea of punching one of our players in the tunnel so that they get suspended for the first three games of next year?

"The charges are based on submissions from Hull City and video evidence. " So because the Hull manager lied, chopped and changed his story the FA are happy to use that as evidence? WTF is going on with these rank amateurs?

So we won't have Cesc or RVP on Sunday. Isn't it true that Wenger has never won against Southgate?

Not quite jaelle, we have until 12th May to respond and Cesc can't be "sentenced" until then. That takes us quite conveniently to United away in the league. Funny, I was sure it's always been fourteen days to respond to a charge, why all of a sudden 17? It is true Wenger has never beaten Southgate. Since mauling them 7-0 at Highbury, we've not beaten Boro.

Of course I want us to win on Sunday- I want us to win every game but have to confess that I am rather distracted by the fast approaching juggernaut that is Wednesday at OT. Yikes! Perversely- I like Gareth Southgate and I don't want to see Boro go down; so I wish them well for the run-in. (But go Gunners!) As for this Cesc thing at the FA. I think they just make it up as they go along. Coincidentally; they make their just deliberations after Wenger gives them a right public roasting over the wastefulness of the Wembley project and its diabolical pitch. Hmmm...
