Cry Baby Evra Threatens Fabregas

Cry Baby Evra Threatens Fabregas

On the eve of one of the largest football matches of his career, one would think that Man Utd's Patrice Evra would be concentrating on the task in hand rather than carrying on his whinge over some rough house treatment he received from Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.

Evra was the recipient of some rather tasty tackles in the Premier League match between Arsenal and Man United at Old Trafford after the Frenchman baited the Gunners claiming it was 'men against children' in the Champions League semi-final in which The Red Devils wiped the floor with Arsenal.

Eva had his say directly after the game, but a couple of weeks later ... he's still wittering on.

In a bizarre rant that could, and should land him in hot water with the FA, Evra clearly aims a threat towards the Arsenal captain that makes him sound, rather ironically, like a schoolchild.

'If it amuses you to hit people, you do boxing, you do taekwondo, whatever you want. But you don't play football.' sobbed Evra

' We will see each other again off the pitch and there will not be a referee to give me a red card.'

'I was really disappointed. Everyone understood that he wanted to hurt me. It was because of what I said after the Champions League semi-final: 11 boys against 11 men.'

'I said it and I thought it. But in this world, as soon as you say what you think then you are seen as arrogant.'

I wonder if JA Reyes is waiting to see Gary Neville of the pitch. In the same vain, any of hundreds of players who played against Roy Keane. Evra is a very good full back, but he does often have cases of severe verbal diarrhoea!

As I mentioned elsewhere Evra received a ban for a violent act towards a member of the Chelsea groundstaff recently. He should listen to his own words. If it amuses you to hit people then maybe you shouldn't play football.

Evra is a complete c*** and 'should' but probably won't receive a ban as he's a Man Utd player. Hell Rooney and Ronaldo get away with worse in every other game, why should this be any different? Although I look forward to Cesc or someone like Kolo "doing" him next time they line up against each other. Ahh, makes you realise how much we miss Paddy...

When the 'men vs boys' thing came out, I thought he's a boaster. But 2 weeks on, come on, shouldn't he be talking about the big final?! I can't wait to see Messi kick him now, though Messi never kicks people! lol

He's thought of as arrogant because that is the characteristic he displays most often. I can't recall ever admiring his humility. Surely comments such as this are worth a charge of bringing the game into disrepute? As I recall Steve Bruce, Brian Robson, Roy Keane, Gary and Phil Neville, Paul Ince and many others I can't be bothered to name have all been Manc players and guilty of dishing it out a bit too much at times. The man is behaving like a spoilt child and should learn that if you disrespect and insult people you are likely to get a pretty uncompromising reaction. His comments after that match were unprofessional in the extreme.

'in this world, as soon as you say what you think then you are seen as arrogant.' I think that might just be the most pathetic quote of the year.

That last quote is as pathetic as somebody saying: "We can't even celebrate St Georges day any more because of the PC brigade!" Limited brain I tell ya.
