Team News: Arsenal v. Szombathelyi H.

After over a week of two-a-day training in blistering temperatures in Austria, the Arsenal squad takes on Szombathelyi Haladas tonight in Hungary. Arsenal played Haladas last season as well, and the match ended 1-1. If you didn`t know who the Gunners were playing on that day, you would have swore we were playing a team managed by fat Sam Allardyce. It was obvious the Hungarian players were trying to prove themselves against Arsenal`s international stars, and they did this by trying to kick us off the pitch. Wenger was visibly upset on the sidelines with the challenges, but I guess he wasn`t upset enough to refuse to play Szombathelyi again.

After some awkwardly worded quotes following the Nasri injury, Wenger started an online frenzy about the fitness of a certain Crozillian. However, Eduardo is fit and in the first eleven. Still no sign of Cesc, but we should see him play against Hannover on Wednesday.

Starting XI: Mannone, Eboue, Toure, Djourou, Traore, Wilshere, Denilson, Ramsey, Song, Eduardo, Bendtner

Bench: Szcezesny, Sagna, Silvestre, Vermaelen, Gallas, Senderos, van Persie, Arshavin

The game is being shown live on Arsenal TV Online right now.

Next match is on Wednesday against Hannover 96.

Why no Rosicky? Hopefully we see him as well against Hannover.

I'm part Hungarian, and I still can't pronounce the name, but I know it means "Saturdaytown Place".

I think Rosicky is not going to be risked in the match with dirty *****. But I wonder why Eduardo is?

I was thinking the same Tom. I'm surprised we're even playing them again to be honest.

There were some rumours going around, but Eduardo has scored 2 tonight so they are indeed false.
