CL Team News: Rosicky and Eduardo Start

Sky Sports has just reported that both Eduardo and Tomas Rosicky will start in Liege tonight.

Arsenal begin their 09-10 Champions League group stage against Standard Liege tonight with some notable absences and inclusions. van Persie, Denilson, Almunia, Arshavin, and Walcott are all out, but Rosicky and Vito Mannone start their first game of the season. Eduardo is also in the team after his ban was overturned on Monday. Long term absentees Nasri, Djourou, Fabianski and Vela are still in London as well.

Arsenal Starting XI: Mannone, Eboue, Gallas, Vermaelen, Clichy, Song, Fabregas, Rosicky, Bendtner, Eduardo, Diaby

Bench: Szczesny, Sagna, Wilshere, Watt, Gibbs, Ramsey, Silvestre

Enjoy the match everyone. Cheers!

Good to see two creative midfielders for change. I predict a solid match from us, more than likely a comfortable win. Diaby will probably play well, because he always does against the ***** teams

I mean, isn't it his general rule to play like ***** for 2 games, then look good for one? Well his trips to manchester didn't go so well, time to bet your life he'll score this match!

Walk over for Arsenal and perhaps a confidence boost after the last two games.

"cracking?" This has been poor, to say the least. This is supposed to be a statement games. A loss today equals three straight in all competitions.
