Does anyone know a good pre-match pub they could recommend for the game tomorrow (LD maybe)?? My mate has managed to get me a ticket to the game (albeit amongst the home crowd) and it would be good to have a couple of beerios amongst Gooners in what looks like is going to be a lovely day in London.

Vin, the Eight Bells next to Putney Bridge is alright, but it gets very, very packed. I recommend the Boat House at Putney Bridge, just off the high street and right on the Thames. It's the other side of the bridge from the ground, about a ten minute walk away. It's the best pub for good weather cos there's loads of seating outside right on the wharf. That's where I'll be anyway!

Cheers LD, appreciate it, I'll go there! Should be perfect conditions for drinks and footie - just need the right result! This is a massive fixture - I honestly think anything less than a win is not good enough.

I'll see you there LD (although we won't recognise each other obviously). We always go there before hand. The 8 Bells is always full of Gooners but as you say crowded and a nightmare getting to the bar. This is one of my favourite away games, but it's always more enjoyable with a good result (obviously). 2 Years ago in January was a great one. Ironic now but I will always remember it for the Ade song that started that day!

Yeah I only started going there last year, with that game being in August and all it was a good day for it (until the game started) and a lush location. I shall be the debonair young gentleman sporting Travis Bickle style army jacket (with Dutch flags on the sleeves- natch). I also have a most excellent piercing at the top of the left ear- if you spot me- pint of bitter would be lovely!

We were ***** today and got away with it, the team was shocking and Fabregas looks a shadow of his former self, Arshavin was nowhere near his best and dont start me on Sagna the less said the better. But on the positive site Song was very good and I was very very impressed with Mannone.
