'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fabregas Loves Arsenal & Arsenal Loves Him

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas says he loves Arsenal Football Club after putting in a six-star display at the Grove yesterday.

He's said it many times before, and no doubt he will say it again, but our beloved Cesc Fabregas has pledged his future to the Gunners after putting in a match winning performance against Fat Sam's Blackburn in a crushing 6-2 defeat.

Fabregas chipped in with a paultry 4 assists and 1 goal. He celebrated his strike by running to his fans (you hear that Adebayor? He ran to HIS fans) motioning to the cannon on his chest, planting a big smooch on it and then pointed at all the Gooners just to let them know it's us who he loves too.

Speaking to the Sky Sports reporters after the game he said,

'There is always some speculation that I don't like to hear. I am committed to this club 100 per cent, it is my seventh season here.'

'It is hard to hear people saying I am not committed enough or something. It was a good time to show I love this club.'

I think it's safe to safe that the feeling is mutual Cesc.

We all know he'll go one day but I'll bet when he does he does so with dignity. While he's here he's been nothing but first class in terms of talent and in terms of commitment. So long as he continues to behave and play in the same vein, he will go with our best wishes when that day finally comes. Let's hope it's not for a good few years yet.
Little Dutch
he'll be gone by next week. I have that from trustworthy sources as The Sun, The Mirror and ANR.
Armory
Whaaaaat?? Why would you take any notice of ANR????
Amos.
Classy fellow on and off the pitch. We love you too Cesc - precisely for the reasons Rocky and LD outlined above.
GoonerLou
unfortunetly some people do take notice of that sesspit Amos.

Man i love Cesc, and seeing that loyalty to the club gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside and then seeing Henry and awwwww it was such a good night (in Australia it was night time). I feel like our players are all finally starting to gel together, Gallas is finally defending with someone he likes, all the forwards are just loving playing with each other. Cesc and RVP and both publicly anounced their love for the club. Good things are coming my fellow Gunners! Good things!
FuiKaka
Come on boys, have you forgot he spat at poor old browny last season ?! lol!
TR7
The shift that Cesc put in yesterday was THE most complete performance that I have ever seen from an Arsenal midfielder. This is mot a criticism, but I want to see him turn in performances like that against the ' big ' teams in the ' big ' games.
CockneyRich1
CockneyRich, Anfield, San Siro, Bernabeau, Old Trafford - what are you talking about ? Yep, he went missing for last season's CL SF but thats about it.
Sajit
THE JOY OF CESC! No words are adequate to express my sickening, gushy love for this kid!!! :-D Love him, love him, love him. I never understand why fans of other clubs trash him as some kind of horrible person, he's just a good guy on and off the pitch. He's not a saint but compared to so many other idiots in the game, he's a decent, likeable guy. Guy's got more class than Ade, Terry, Rooney and Lampard combined.
jaelle
They trash him because they're jelous. A friend of mine who is a ManUtd fan told me Cesc dives as much as Ronaldo did ...that made me quite upset :P
FuiKaka
LD's point about Bendtner is spot on. I think Vermaelen is the same species - he was outjumped by Steven Nzonzi whose header went in. He looked like he wanted to make up for it himself and got his goal, a fantastic shot at that. Also the fact hat he's the first one to point out we were defensively questionable at times shows that he's a driven guy who wants to do better. I love him already!!
GoonerLou
LD is spot on. When Cesc leaves, he will do so with dignity, and thats all one can ask for. Contrast the fans' reaction to Cesc' badge kissing, to Ade's badge kissing last season. The fans are no morons, they know what is genuine and who is not. Cesc has matured very well, and looks like a good captain. Ever notice how there has been NO debate about the captaincy once he took over? I think he's done a decent job so far, and the big tests for him later this season, once the pressure is really turned on.
prits
i guess you'd like it, an arsenal fan mate of mine has just emailed this video: http://saat.atw.hu/ - it's fun if you're not related to Adebayor :)
Vidicinho
"Cesc dives as much as Ronaldo did " -- what kool aid is this idiot drinking???
