'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cesc: The EPL Is The Toughest & I Want It

Cesc Fabregas claims that the English Premier League is the toughest and best football league in the world .... and he wants to win it. Badly.

Arsenal haven't won the PL since the 2003/04 capaign, the season Fabregas joined Arsenal, when he was a mere 16 years old, and the wee Spaniard is desperate to win this tin pot over all others.

Now at the lofty age of 22 the Arsenal captain is yearning for Premier League glory: 'I've realised with every year how big the Premier League is. Growing up it's about Champions League and World Cups. But, once you come to play here, you realise how the fans live for the Premier League.'

'The league is really competitive and I like it a lot. I think in England the Premier League is the biggest thing. All the top teams in Europe want to win their own league but the English is the hardest to win. I want to win it even more now than when I first arrived.'

I think most Gooners would be over joyed to see Fabregas hoist the Premier League trophy high above his head and halt Manchester United's dominance, but if he were to do that with Ol' big ears instead, I doubt there would be too many complaints.

He makes all the right noises doesn’t he? Whether the EPL is tougher than La Liga is open to debate but there do seem to be more teams who can take points of each other this season. I would like to win the EPL and the Champions League this year, just as a starter to a decade of dominance you understand.
Sir Henry
I do love that wee Spaniard. Go win it for us, Cesc!

Very often I am surprised at his (Cesc) maturity. It is also satisfying to note that the team is now geling well together, this has a way of getting each person working hard for the other person. Generally I have a "good feeling" about this season.
