Good start...2-0 up...
jess_farenesh
2-1 now. We should already be out of sight.
Rocky7
Lee Bowyer of all people...
GoonerLou
Come on lads!
Tom14
At least we didn't concede a goal to a balloon.
Rocky7
You know the club should really hire a feng shui master to study the weird relationship between RvP's birthday and the elements of the woodwork.
GoonerLou
hahah.. the balloon... and reina went for the balloon and not the ball....
arseneknows
Yeah Rocky lol, wonder which set of fans the silly balloon came from.
GoonerLou
Sky Sports news claims it was a Liverpool balloon ... lol
Rocky7
Guardian's minute-by-minute report: 'Darren Bent's shot deflects off a balloon to give Sunderland the lead. Oh my, my, my. Can we just fast-forward now to Rafa's post-match interview?' Indeed I can't wait for the rant!! :D
GoonerLou
arshavin. ......yes
arseneknows
BEAUTIFUL counter-attack!!!! :D
GoonerLou
That'll do for me!! Nice little run we're on now!
Rocky7
Yeah great weekend Rocky! :P
GoonerLou
...If the red Baloon did come from the L'pool fans, will it be considered an "own goal"? Lol!
Naijagunner
Well, it took so long for us to score that 3rd goal, and it could have been 2-2 just prior to us scoring the3rd.
hackneyval
Oh dear it's a Liverpool-branded beach ball, not a balloon! lol
GoonerLou
So red-carded Defoe will automatically miss 3 matches, the last one being the NLD right? :P
GoonerLou
Not sure about the Spurs FA & CC fixtures. Why? you sound relieved for that one.
Naijagunner
Not relieved but that's good for us, no? They face Stoke next week, then CC (not sure against whom), then NLD.
GoonerLou
Good result today even if the finishing wasn't the best. I love the fact that despite the fact that most post match reports are saying we weren't clinical enough we still managed 3 goals.
DBerg
Agree, its good for us. Defoe is unpredictable. The way we are dispatching the smaller teams, I feel all we need to do is sustain the home form and get 12 points from fixtures with the top 4 (5?) and the title won't be too far off; this will be the difference this season. Last 3 seasons, we struggled against some lower placed teams but played well against the top 4
Naijagunner
4 points away from the top...if the gunners win that 1 game in hand (against Bolton i think), we're a point away..yessssssssssssss stay like this, and then beat the crap of Manure at Emirates, cesc got his trophy. (in super ambitious mood)
cesc_frantix
Feet on the ground,gooners.
Sajit
72 points to go. i am counting down the points, i think 90 points will win us the league. we have 18 so far.
collow
just seen the "Beach Ball" goal against Liverpool! lol or what!
