Oh deary... Hope Gallas and AA are okay. But why did AA go for the ball when Gallas was in a good position to head it..?
GoonerLou
Classy finish from Samir!! :D
GoonerLou
Better never than late! ;-)
Tom14
Hope you're not referring to the Nasri goal! ;)
GoonerLou
Nah, I would only complain about you ;-)
Tom14
Oh what a strike! What a comeback for Denny!! Very nice to see all teammates look truly happy for him. :) Is it just me, or is it just Standard Liege, or are we looking much better with both Song and Den alongside Cesc?
GoonerLou
I know, you're jealous. ;)
GoonerLou
Thanks Lou. Tuesday games are the worst for match previews. With the time difference, I don't get team news till the morning of the match, and I'm too busy to get a preview out in the morning. My move back to London can't come soon enough.
gunnerkid107
Nice goal for Denilson on his comeback. Also, when Arshavin changed shirts because of the blood, he should have put on a gray kit because he was Liege's best defender.
gunnerkid107
It probably should be 1-1. How the referee didn't give Liege a penalty is beyond me. Gallas doesn't know up from down right now, and he clearly knocked the player to the floor.
gunnerkid107
Oh joy,Silvestre!!!one!!!!1!!
ajwb
Did Eboue just hit a shot on target with his LEFT foot?!?
gunnerkid107
Song and Eboue have been great. :)
GoonerLou
Where is uskok tonight? oh yea, the spuds are playing tonight. With their legos!
deledudu
Be fair to the spuds how else will they build their new stadium if not for Lego?
Dberg
Careful now Db, their legoland will be finer and better than the Grove. Or so they say!
deledudu
Anyone like me wants Inter to go out? They showed Barca-Inter on TV and Mourinho's face was great to watch as they got outplayed. Who do you guys want to get next?
GoonerLou
How about Spuds Lou? oops! I forgot, they are allergic to Champion League games!
deledudu
Could'nt resist that Lou. but seriously, I'll love to get Inter if they can manage to get through to the next round, I'll take any of the Italian teams though. They are usually slow and ponderous.
deledudu
Lol! Now, where are those stalkers when you 'need' them? Agree there Dudu; the Arsenal game will worry Italian teams; but, I don't think Inter will make it and I am loving that possibility.
Naijagunner
Naija, I'll give anything to see Moaningho's face after we've done them home and away. And don't you just love our dear neighbours? C'mon guys, come out and play!
deledudu
....and, it is to the Europa league for L'pool. Just like them to go on to win that, right?
Naijagunner
The Spuds? Nah! Not tonight. CL is way out of their league.
Naijagunner
I don't think either was a penalty. Eboue 'went down easily' and the Liege player tried to buy a penalty by stepping into Gallas. He made no attempt to play the ball at all. The ref had the perfect angle to see it and got both right.
Amos.
Easy win for you guys - if you keep a fit squad you could go all the way this time. Good luck.
