'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Preview: Arsenal v. Chelsea (h)

For a devout pessimist, I've been uncharacteristically optimistic throughout the second half of last season and the beginning of this one. However, after hearing the sobering news Saturday morning about Robin van Persie's season ending injury, I no longer have the same buzz vibrating deep within. Sure, come kickoff, I'll be chewing at my nails like there's no tomorrow, but even with a win, I won't be looking favourly toward the rest of our season. I reckoned we could survive through the New Year without our flying Dutchman, but a whole season? Probably not. This is an indication of Robin`s quality rather than the squad's depth. Would United be the same with Owen leading the line or Chelsea with Anelka upfront by himself? The answer is an unequivocal, and undeniable no. Anyways, onto tomorrows match.

Not three weeks ago, I considered this match a huge step towards the title for whichever team emerged victorious, but now after an injury and a trip to the Stadium of Light, even an Arsenal win will do little to change the destination of the title in my opinion. Chelsea comes into the match with practically a clean bill of health after having many of their key players fake injuries to keep them out of the pointless friendlies. Fair play to them, because I wish Arsene had the stones to do the same. After his expletive interview this week, Wenger might not be so idealistic in the future. Instead he has a host of injuries to deal with. Besides van Persie, Bendtner, Wilshere, Clichy, Gibbs, and Djourou are also out injured, while Merida will miss this match and the next two with a suspension. Gallas is a serious doubt because he cannot put a contact lens in his swollen right eye.

There has been a lot of talk that Theo Walcott needs to start this match, but I disagree. Last November we beat a robust Manchester United at the Grove with our footballing know-how, and I suspect this is the best way to go at this Chelsea team. On their day, both Wigan and Villa can play some technically sound football, and that is how those two teams gunned down the West Londoners. For this reason, I would start Rosicky and Arshavin on either side of Eduardo. Against Sunderland, Rosicky was guilty of over complicating his play, and I hope the Boss had a good word with him. Tomas has always been an asset to this team because of his direct, forward style and he needs to get back to what makes him a world-class player today.

The other spot in Arsene`s eleven that is up for grabs is the left back position. I would give it too Eboue for the experience. Even though it`s not his natural side of the defence, I have this weird feeling of trust. Who would have thought that about Emmanuel Eboue last November? Everything that is wrong with players like Adebayor, is what's right with Eboue.

Also in the defence, there could be a question of who will start alongside Vermaelen if Gallas isn't fit. Maybe this is because I'm too afraid to imagine Silvestre lineup against Chelsea again, but I think Gallas is a big game player who would rather die than miss this match. Against Liege I had this strange moment where I realised I no longer consider him an ex-Chelsea player. I know he was very good after being stripped of the captaincy last season, but in the back of my mind, he was always a blue. However, the way he has gelled with Vermaelen and the joy in his face when he scores a goal, has most likely changed my subconscious view of his loyalties.

Alright, moving on. Here is my predicted starting XI: Almunia, Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen, Eboue, Song, Denilson, Fabregas, Rosicky, Arshavin, Eduardo

I believe we can win this match, even though I don't think we can challenge for the league anymore. These aren't the matches that will win the title. I'm interested to see how Vermaelen and Gallas do against Drogba. The Ivorian was poor in midweek, but he is always up for the big ones. For that, and only that, I respect him. Still, I can't imagine an Arsenal-Chelsea game where he doesn't score, but we have our own big game maestro in Andrey Arshavin. The Russian said that he doesn't believe he's played a good game all season, but I think he`ll break that streak today. 2-1 to the Arsenal!

This game will be on SKY in England, and FSC in the States. Our next match is at the MiddleEastlands on Wednesday in Manchester, and then we host an always improving Stoke City next Saturday.

Have a good Sunday everyone and come on Arsenal!

Sorry this is so late, I've been without a computer for a couple of days.
gunnerkid107
By the way, here's a good interview with Vermaelen. He talks about tomorrows match against Drogba. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/arsenal/article6936202.ece
gunnerkid107
I reckon the Didier Drogba show is coming. He will score...
centrelink1
Totally agree with your predicted lineup brice. Eduardo rosicky & arshavin up front instead of theo. Eboue ahead of traore or silvestre. If gallas still is one eyed by kickoff, maybe senderos to partner verminator. Surely he will want revenge agagainst drogba from their last encounter. Im very nervous about this match. Could go either way.
supersof
High pressing game required, Denilson needs to get in and around the Chelsea midfield when we havent got the ball, Song needs to protect the back 4 from the Chelsea long ball to Drogba. Going forward We need to get the ball to Arshavin at every opportunity, get him running at Ivanovic.....Id also play 1 of Vela or Walcott (our 2 quickest players) as pace is 1 of the assets we have that Chelsea do not.
iceman10
I think we should play Theo, not Rosicky.
Tom14
im sure denilson and more will strike the ball with their brilliance like last week
leeimp95
I had a dream that in the 17th minute Drogba and Lampard clashed as drogba trying to control a high ball kicked lampards head and Droba fell awkwardly. After lengthy treatment both were subbed off and we went to win the game 3-0. I hope it was a vision from god and not wishful dreaming
paul_ownz
Alright, forget the title, can they make us forget the 1-4 humiliation?
Sajit
I was nervous the whole day but now I'm getting more relaxed and positive, strange. We can up our game against Chelsea. Midfield is vital now with a depleted back 4 and an unfamiliar front 3. Den-Cesc-Song is our best trio and I have faith in them!
GoonerLou
I think we should play Rosicky, not Theo.
gunnerkid107
come on the red , win this one please .
kimbo
Also agree with Brice on a couple of things: now I also identify with Gallas as a Gunner much better now that he's proved time and again he's committed to the cause here; what's wrong with Adebayor is what's right with Eboue. Er, 3 things actually, that we CAN beat Chelsea if we apply our ourselves properly. We can't match them for physicality, but we also have a chance by playing a technical game at our best of course. Their defence isn't entirely faultness. We have plenty of trickery and pace to test them in guys like Cesc, AA, Nasri and Eduardo. The team have also had more time to practise whatever the boss thinks it takes to play without Robin by now. We just have to stay confident and put on a good show. Another point to note: we're showing our class as a club off the pitch by dedicating this match to GOSH, our charity of the season. Let's show it on the pitch as well!
GoonerLou
Here's the starting XI: Almunia, Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen, Traore, Song, Denilson, Fabregas, Nasri, Arshavin, Eduardo
gunnerkid107
LINEUP: Almunia, Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen, Traore, Song, Denilson, Fabregas, Nasri, Arshavin, Eduardo. SUBS: Fabianski, Silvestre, Eboue, Ramsey, Rosicky, Walcott, Vela
GoonerLou
I'm hoping Denilson and Arshavin have been instructed to help out Traore as much as possible.
bowiecokemirror
Really don't like Traore starting instead of Eboue.
jaelle
Off topic: we get West Ham (a) in the FA Cup.
GoonerLou
Nasri should play on the left to protect Traore, something that AA wouldn't do enough of I'm afraid.
GoonerLou
cant see the game please keep me up to date!!!
Armory
oh dear
arseneknows
Er Armoury, the commentators said 'Arsenal claim the football, Chelsea have the goal' after Drogba headed it in from Cashley's cross...
GoonerLou
******** ***** is all I can say
Dberg
We have ZERO luck
ajwb
2-0 Chelsea (own goal off of Vermaelen), that's it for me, game over
jaelle
damn...
arseneknows
Trust me armory you don't wanna know
Dberg
ARRRRGGGHHH I want to cry!!
GoonerLou
We need the spirit we showed at Liege but Chelsea are no Liege. I feel for the Verminator, he's playing so well, so so unlucky.
GoonerLou
Damn after playing so well 1st goal a lucky goal 2nd goal another lucky goal, I hope we do not drop our heads.
phreddy
Both goals came from the right side, crosses from Cashley. I was more worried about the left side with Traore there. It's not over yet, but our attack looks a bit toothless at the moment without RvP.
bowiecokemirror
Really pathetic stuff from us - we dominate possession as usual and are down 2-0 - they're direct and powerful and totally outclass us. We dither around and are just clueless in front of goal.
jaelle
There have been a few lapses in concentration in our defending, leaving players unmarked, and you can't afford that against Chelsea.
bowiecokemirror
What the frig was Almunia doing for that second goal? He's stooped to collect the ball behind three frigging players about 5 yards off his line. If he says he saves it. He's babba.
Rocky7
Theo on - his pace would be very useful! - for whom?
GoonerLou
Did you guys hear anything about Song? So it's a tactical change to have Theo for him, yes? We can't afford any more injuries!!
GoonerLou
Song has gone off Lou
bowiecokemirror
What the hell happened there/?!?! Cech foulED? Edu's the one who went down in the challenge!
GoonerLou
Dudu has been poor today!!
phreddy
Good start to the 2nd half
ajwb
Our crossing has been awful so far, glad Eduardo has been taken off as well.
bowiecokemirror
Where's our pen?!?!? Theo please run at Ferreira now.
GoonerLou
Ashley Cole ...oh dear, oh dear.....
cockeril
Anelka looks good too;>O
cockeril
We can't cross, we can't shoot, this is so frustrating, we have no chance of scoring.
bowiecokemirror
Arsene whinge whinge whinge, where was Chavs Peno?
cockeril
lol am i lad im not watching but it could be worse I could be a spud...... to reach those hights only to come tumpling down again.
Armory
Who's this ref? Carlos Vela was clearly brought down.
GoonerLou
The ref is the guy who was joking around with Terry, books Traore after one foul and refuses to book Joe Cole after repeated fouls.
jaelle
blaming the ref now hahahahhaa such bad losers!!
cockeril
One for the Charity of the Season indeed, this game.
GoonerLou
We simply aren't good enough, for a home team we've had very few attempts on goal.
bowiecokemirror
Great strike from Drogba you have to say. But who organised the wall? Clearly a whole there. This hurts.
GoonerLou
Played of the pitch in your own back yard oh dear oh dear...Tile is over girls.
cockeril
Our bad old habits are all back - defending lapses, bad luck, lack of a cutting edge despite the pretty passes. Chelsea are only accumulating points to drop some in Jan but it's looking like they're the team the beat. But I can't see our title credentials either.
GoonerLou
Chelsea beat us hands down, we hv no hope for the Premiership. I do agree with all this buy buy buy as i think we could have played better. The forward line has been very poor. Mid field and defense fair.
phreddy
HOW WAS THAT DROG’S SECOND GOAL,BOYS……..UR LILY LIVERED FANS HAVE ALREADY LEFT THE STADIUM….VERY FICKLE FANS…….LOL
CHELSEAGEE
chelsea were by far the superior team today and they probably are.. defense was mean, attack was ruthless.. our defense porous and attack toothless.. we're in a fight foe 2nd place but no more.. with a favourable draw, we may go far in the cup competitions.. with some luck, we may win of em
McGooner
I told you we would have your place and we got it well finish higher come season end and might see you in Europe thats if you make it.
Uskok
Charity of the Seaon game indeed. Gutted.
GoonerLou
vermalen scores again hes on fire lol hahahahahahahahahahahaha
jljyid
Nothing to do with bad luck or bad refereeing, we were outclassed. We had nothing upfront to hurt them, Eduardo was very poor. Arshavin and Nasri were not much better.
bowiecokemirror
"VERY FICKLE FANS…….LOL " - you're kidding right? A chav calling gooners fickle and laughing at us for leaving that stadium early? Hilarious!
jaelle
i cant wait to see you at the lane with a full strength squad you will get spanked
jljyid
GAME OVER,BOYS….U CAN PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT.HA…….HA…….HA….11 POINTS CLEAR OF THE ARSE KIDS…LOL
CHELSEAGEE
We're good enough for a Top 3 finish, but not good enough for the title. Let's see how Chelsea cope without 4 Africans in Jan. Interesting times ahead.
GoonerLou
bowiecoke, of course we were outclassed - totally. This result does not surprise me in the slightest, I hoped for a draw and hoped we wouldn't be thrashed. I do not fear MUtd when we play against them but since Abramovich arrived, Wenger simply has had no answer to Chelsea - we only had luck against them last year when Drogba, Essien were not playing and they had a clueless manager. And we do not have an Iniesta to come up with a moment of magic. Really *****-poor performance from us, all the usual frailties came out today. I dread having to listen to Wenger's press conference.
jaelle
the english beating the french again im loving this
jljyid
I think we need Bendtner back asap, otherwise we lack any physical threat in our attack. No one to get on the end of crosses in the air. Although our crossing was rubbish, Sagna got into some good positions to put crosses in but they were pretty poor attempts.
bowiecokemirror
nice match, you guys just have to work on your finishing.i'm a chelsea fan and you guys held our midfield, but sincerely there was never any chance that you'd score.
alex6
I can live with the Chelsea fans gloating but Jaelle don't you find it funny when the little spuddies are the first to be here? Ignore the trolls please. They just won't stop no matter what you say. We were outclassed, outpowered, outmaneuvred. But like all derbies and top-of-table clashes, it could have taken an entirely complexion had the ref given AA's goal and Vela's pen claim. They're just ruthless and that much sharper in front of goal.
GoonerLou
Hail Drogs the VERMINATOR!!! lol and there people were slating me for claiming Vermaleed's overhyped and not the great player everyone made him out to be. He clearly is'nt. And how does it feel to be foiled by Ashley, fellas? ;-) And cheers to Arshavin, whom I think is Blue in heart. He either never turns up or plays crap against us. Cheers! Enjoyed thrashing you, hope we make this a yearly affair. :-)
JT_daniel
I was also a bit surprised with the Theo substitution. Thought Arsene would send on Rosicky for Nasri/AA before that. Song's important in a physical battle although I do understand the pace and a bit of a fear factor that Theo could bring to the table. Can't believe I'm saying this: we missed Bendtner!
GoonerLou
Hey, I find it funny the spuds are here too. Did'nt we trash them too? Did'nt you lot thrash them too? God, I think THEY're the vermin!
JT_daniel
He was terrible, your Russian that is. Walcott and Eduardo are shocking too, you looked so toothless without RvP. Thought you played Ok though, just not enough in the final 3rd. Nasri and Song were good suprised Nasri got subbed.
HuddersfieldYiddo

GoonerLou chill out can you not take a bit over banter??? Bad bad losers or what. If you did not know we are your bitter rivals and even though there has been a big gap between us just take a glimpse to your right. Hahahahaha what excuses this season...too young?? bad refs?? shi t fans leaving early???
cockeril
Hahahahahahahahahha. You are the 2nd rate of English football with us. We know, we know... you beat us. But once again you have absolutely collapsed against a top team. You can't win the league, you're simply not good enough. OHHHHH and Eduardo is absolutely useless.
WhiteHartSpur
Lou, the spuddies are just pathetic little losers with a permanent loser mentality. As I keep saying, they are more interested in seeing Arsenal lose than their own team win. They're totally obsessed with us. They care more about Arsenal than they do their own team.
jaelle
Why did Arsene replace a defensive midfielder with a winger?! :-0?
JT_daniel
If we're losers why are we ahead of you?
WhiteHartSpur
Dont know whys thats posted twice. Im ok with it though.
HuddersfieldYiddo
I see your poll is still MOTM against us. Who was your man of the match against Sunderland?
WhiteHartSpur
I agree Jaelle, it's no surprise Chelsea have had the upper hand since they got Abramovich's money. It's perhaps a little naive for me to expect us to be able to compete with them. Nevertheless it's just frustrating to watch us play like this when we have so much posession and getting into good positions in the final third but then squandering it with a poor final ball. Also our reluctance to shoot from long range is perplexing when we have continously struggled to get in behind their defence.
bowiecokemirror
WHS, you're losers because -- unlike us -- you watch our results with total obsessive zeal and come running over to our blog asap to triumph -- a loss for us is a massive triumph for you. Whereas a loss for you means nothing to us.
jaelle
Hopeless, absolutely hopeless. So much possesion and we come away with nothing and 3 goals conceded. Tell me something though. Why the hell do we never close down to stop the crosses? Twice Sagna stood off Cashley and aloud him to cross the ball and twice they scored goals.
itsup4grabsnow
Yeah Lou, I'm relying on Bendtner to saver our season as well, desperate times perhaps :)
bowiecokemirror
Don`t talk wet Jaelle if we win we stay ahead of you and you don`t want that who you trying to kid!
cockeril
No JT you don't understand my question. My question was why replace an effective DM in a physical battle when we're so short on muscle with a winger (Theo) when other wingers/forwards weren't performing (AA/Edu) and when another winger/attacking player (Rosicky) could have provided more bite, experience and creative spark which we lacked.
GoonerLou
itsup4grabs, at the start of the season I thought that problem had been addressed from last season (failure to close down opponents)- our players seemed finally to have learned that, like Barca, they have to constantly fight for the ball and pressure opponents when they don't have the ball. In recent games, however, some of our players look like they've forgotten all about that.
jaelle
believe me, cockeril, no gooner is concerned that you're top 4 material. You won't last in the top 4, it's hilarious to think that you will.
jaelle
Surprisingly im not surpised.
Sajit
A reminder cockeril: check out how many points separate us in the top 4. Yeah, really really scary gap there.
jaelle
Oh and Arsene should bench Arshavin. He's a total liability right now.
jaelle
I bet you were shi ting yourself on the last day of the season on Lasgnegate. I doubt we will get CL this season but we are getting closer and the way you guys are playing we will overtake you very soon just a matter of time. New stadium zero debt bigger fan base, proper fans that stay till the end. The thing is when are actualy going to win anything?
cockeril
There's no need to insult people cockeril. Your posts smell of inferiority complex. If I were you I'd be enjoying your result more than ours cos you just thrashed a team. You'll be well advised to go back to your DVD to stay sane. lol
GoonerLou
I'm beginning to think Arsene might have been right in his initial assessment that Arshavin isn't physically strong enough for the premiership.
bowiecokemirror
cockeril, I've lost count how many times I've seen your fans start to leave early (at WHL and our ground) when it's clear we've beaten you. The TV cameras even replayed the sight of your fans leaving early at your ground 2 seasons ago. And I for one sincerely hope you do get a new stadium -- clubs historically struggle when they get a new stadium, many go down the table. And you don't have a sound business managing team like us. I'll love watching what happens to you.
jaelle
These spuds are deranged, no point trying to have a conversation with them. They have been humiliated by being inferior to us for so long that they have lost their marbles. I guess it's cruel to laugh at their comments so best to ignore them completely.
bowiecokemirror
"bigger fan base"???? I guess it's true, the spuds are the most deluded fans in all of football.
jaelle
I thought you did not care about us Jaelle..hahaha it`s all coming out now LMAO!! you are worried you know we know and Arsene knows.
cockeril
there there cockeril, I won't waste my time trying to burst your precious little bubble anymore, I'll leave you to it.
jaelle
I will leave you drown in your sorrows...That Ashley was great today :>O
cockeril
Agreed Jaelle, Arshavin has been total crap. Why is he so *****ed off about Russia not going to the WC? Yes it's gutting for him, but why is he being like this? He is being incredibly unproffesional and disrespectful to Wenger, his team mates and the fans by doing this and then not performing for us in games, we don't need to carry passengers.
itsup4grabsnow
Just one question and it has nothing to do with Arsenal. Why do Spud fans have such inferiority complex? I mean, ok we've wiped the floor with them for over a decade , but surely this is a bit too much!
Sajit
itsup4grabs, we really shouldn't be surprised. Arshavin has a reputation for being a****ly eccentric personality. And the Russian players are deeply patriotic, it's a very emotional commitment they have to the national team. Right now he's useless to us. I'm watching the big derby in Spain right now, good game to forget our loss to Chelsea. Except I can't get one thing out of my head: we have Stoke up next. Fortunately, it's a home game.
jaelle
can't believe this board censored the word p-r-i-c-k-l-y! sajit, the spuds on this board are the only thing putting a smile on my face, their obvious desperation to see us lose and inferiority complex is always a a great source of laughter.
jaelle
jaelle, I say its a bit unfair to blame Arshavin. Eduardo did squat. and so did rest of the team. I really do feel for Thomas , he played really well. Hopefully not another Senderos in the making.
Sajit
BTW, what troubles me about Chelsea at our home ground now is that, for awhile, they couldn't get a win, only draw after draw after draw. That's no longer true. We've totally conceded the fortress factor to them.
jaelle
Talk is cheap, its ok saying this and that and this team is ready, now is the time but the facts are this team, this squad CANNOT win the title. The lack of belief in our philosophy today was frightening it seemed nobody believed our style of play could overcome the Chelsea power play. Deep down Wenger must know that he's too clever a man to actually believe we were unlucky today, we got chewed up and spat out by a Chelsea team that didnt get out of 3rd gear. Mentally this is the weakest Arsenal team ive seen for a very long time and Certainly the weakest in the Wenger era.
iceman10
Arsene is far too intelligent to believe our loss is down to bad luck, he just doesn't want to criticise the team in public and damage their confidence any further.
bowiecokemirror
Hard luck guys,we were just better with our chances and our defense was simply superb. You missed RVP big time.Anyway, best of luck for rest of the season :)
blueKnightz09
jtdaniel what a**** read his comments hes a proper tool. jaelle better business model? whos the club in debt hmmmm
jljyid
jljyid, who's the club that pays millions of pounds for dozens and dozens of average players (and who then get sold off at bargain basement prices to lower table clubs?)
jaelle
As Arsene said earlier this week (about Chelsea, but the same point applies to Spuds or anyone trying to build a new stadium): "I want to see them show me a new stadium, pay £25 million back every season, and stay at the top. I want to see that. These clubs trying to get planning permission for new stadiums, it is basically because they want to sell the club not to move the club to a higher level."
GoonerLou
I guess us BRUTES won :-)
merlin
That was an awful but all too recurring experience it seems. This may sound extreme but today is the day I officially give up all hope of this Arsenal team ever winning anything and on Arsene's project. If anything, it seems we're regressing. Last season we were outclassed by Man U at home in the CL and now Chelsea twice. It's no use this team maturing every season by learning how to be nearly-rans. The worst thing is having the hope that you are capable of winning something. No longer for me.
Gooner_Vin
Vin, that's pretty much how I feel. I refuse to be taken in anymore by good runs that may last a few games. And I fully expect to lose more players.
jaelle
Err, didn't Arsenal sell their ground and deliver £25m profit into the backpockets of the shareholders without spending it on the team? Certainly looks like it. Wenger shouldn't cast aspersion on what other ckubs may or may not want to do when his own club is actually been doing it for the last couple of years! A plucky performance from the minnows today. After 3 goals, do we get to keep you now? Tough. We don't want you.
Squiddy
never booked vela for hes dive, an never gave a peno against sagna, dont blame ref or injuries thats old news, saw the game and well beatin at home,
123spurs
Thought you guys beat us in midfield by some margin, but at the two ends that matter most we were a class above. How do you like Ashley setting up 2 goals? Booed him all game, threw a camera at one of our players, and Arshavin is one slimy little ****, the number of times he went in 10 mins late..... you guys derved this. Loved Ashley's air-punch when he left..... take it bitches....
Saf 91
Not much left to say that hasn´t allready been said. Can we play you every week? LOL
Blue is the colour
Anelka was fouled in the box, Terry was fouled in the box, Drogba was onside..... lucky we didn't win by a bigger margin. Is it Vela's job to win a penalty? Seriously, everytime I see him come on in a game he's throwing himself down in the area within 5 minutes..... He's didn't even reach the box today and he was already on the floor. Don't replay with anything about Drogba, not when he spanks you this hard every time he plays against you.
Saf 91
I guess we liked Cashley setting up 2 goals about as much as you liked Gallas scoring the winner against you a couple of years back. You cant really complain about things being thrown at your players when for some reason you guys pelted Cesc with celery in a cup final and slimy players.....step forward John Obi Mikel what a cheat. You deserved your win though enjoy, but try and be a bit more balanced in your summing up ;)
iceman10
that would be us then when they find some form buy them back even cheaper jaelle thats good business. anyway hardlines LMFAO
jljyid
Must hurt seeing Spurs above you in the table. And what's that, 9-2 aggregate the last 3 times we've played you? With Van Persie out for the rest of the season you guys have a fight on your hands. Forget his goals, he's set up a hatful this season. Only person that has had a bigger contribution to his team's goals this season is Drogba. Scored or assisted in every game in every competition he's played in apart from the ManUre game. Although Wes Brown might argue with that. Best player in the country by a mile, and the only person I thought could snatch that away from him is crocked for 5 months! Tough luck. If Wenger doesn't buy a quality striker in January, you guys should be livid. I would be.
Saf 91
123, if you actually read all the comments, we've acknowledged we were well and truly beaten, no one here's blaming the ref -- that won't stop you from your selective reading of posts, tho.
jaelle
jaelle, you're an idiot. I have read your last few comments and you just sound so stupid. At the end of the day, you're possibly fractions better than us. Don't tell me the only thing cheering you up is our comments. You are clearly worried that as you keep declining, we keep getting stronger. Our squad can match yours. Our fans put your fans to shame. You're getting scared, I can smell it.
WhiteHartSpur
The only thing I can smell here is an inferiority complex. Jog on pal.
iceman10
jaelle, fans leavin early your on about CC cup semi final, it was 60 mintes an gunners fans left
123spurs
So whats your point 123? Your fans leave early aswell? Where are you going with this?
iceman10
Genuine comment - Eduardo is a Championship level striker.
WhiteHartSpur
Dunno what the F*@k that makes Robbie Keane then?
iceman10
for the first time we agree Iceman, and no doubt the last.
YidEdy
i think iceman is melting like there title challenge
123spurs
yid they are not kids anymore, more like mid 20's by now, hearin that for last few years, oh well let them believe, what ever keeps them happy an wenger in a job.

ivanskg

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 123, if you actually read all the comments, we've acknowledged we were well and truly beaten, no one here's blaming the ref -- that won't stop you from your selective reading of posts, tho. jaelle >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The ref has done a favour for you arse-holes ....... a penalty should be awarded for the foul against Anelka in the box. So, it should be the Chelsea fans blaming the ref instead.
