Arsenal Travel To West Ham In FA Cup 3rd Round

As long as I can remember two of my favorite dates in the domestic footballing calendar are FA Cup semi final weekend, and the New Years 3rd round ties as everyone is still trying to recover from JD and Coke induced hangovers.

However with the brouhaha leading up to, and following yesterday's crushing, and embarrassing defeat to Chelsea, the draw for the 3rd round of the FA Cup completely passed me by.

The 3rd round always offers us a tasty tie or two, (A possible tie between Man Utd and Leeds would be fun to watch) however this seasons drawmasters obviously weren't schooled by the same people who provided us with a relatively tame passage through to the knock out stages of the Champions League.

Instead we were given the task of going to Upton Park to take on West Ham on January the 2nd/3rd. A task, I fear, that could prove to be quite difficult.

So, as I always, I'm looking forward to the 3rd round ....... but not with as much optimism as usual.

Not a fun draw; unless, WHU rests some players like I know we shall. Surely, we should have more in reserve than they do and scrape through. It is important to focus on our next game (Man City)and win, otherwise Stoke will begin to believe they have a chance, even in the Grove.

Don't like the draw but there's nothing we can do about it now. Still feeling down from yesterday but that don't mean i stopped believing. I think we'll get through this one.
