Who is the greatest player ever... You decide!

Thierry Henry or Denis Bergkamp? Tony Adams or Lee Dixon?

Who is the greatest Arsenal player ever to play in the Premiership? What is the best Arsenal XI ever to play in the Premiership? You decide!

It's a topic that has divided opinion for Gunners across the world and now there is a new website dedicated to finding out exactly who is the greatest Arsenal player and XI to ever have ever graced the English Premiership.

www.greatestarsenalplayer.com has a unique 'Play-Off' system where two randomly selected players go head-to-head in a battle vote where you can decide which player you think is the best. Based on the statistics collected, it generates a table of the top 50 players and is presented along with the Greatest Arsenal XI ever. The beauty of this site is the more votes the players receive, the more accurate the results, so get voting! There are another 30 individual team sites and one huge site called www.greatestplayerever.com which lets the fans decide who the best player and XI of all the players and teams to have ever played in the Prem since it exploded onto the scene back in 1992.

"Anybody who is a Arsenal fan will not be able to resist the pure addictiveness of these sites," said James Terry, Founder of the Greatest Player Ever Network. "The ability of this game to capture your imagination and draw you in is unbelievable. Seeing some of your past heroes pitted against some of the modern greats is fantastic and remembering some of the not so great players is brilliant entertainment, its pure football gold!"

The site will soon be launching a membership feature with the opportunity to win fantastic prizes from signed shirts to VIP football tickets.

At the time of writing this article the current all time Arsenal Premiership XI is Seaman, Dixon, Adams, Keown, Winterburn, Ljungberg, Vieira, Fabregas, Pires, Bergkamp, Henry

If you want to have a laugh go see the Spurs current 11! Mauricio Tarrico is in it!

Why 'the Premiership'? This arbitrary watershed frequently used in the press baffles me. Football wan't born in 1992. Nor was Arsenal.

Shhhhh lou dont tell anybody that in public, they will be knocking at your door very soon if you keep letting people know football existed before the premiership started.

At the time of writing this article the current all time Spurs Premiership XI is Thorstvedt, Tarrico, Mabbutt, Ruddock, Assou-Ekotto, Malbranque, Carrick, Samways, Ginola, Ferdinand, Klinsmann. Hahahahaha, Samways, Assou-ekotto, Malbranque!

Bergkamp was God, Cesc is Jesus, Adams was Mr. Arsenal, but Henry was the greatest player to ever play for us.

Kolo Toure has to make the list for me. in the premiership era, he has been our best defender. campbell n keown run him close though..

It's always difficult to decide on these types of lists, as Lou points out, I'm not comfortable with the obsession with the 1992 watershed. In my time watching Arsenal, Bergkamp, Adams, Henry and Vieira are hard to spilt. To be honest, I'm always amazed that Robert Pires doesn't feature as much as he ought to, he might just be the best Arsenal player I've ever seen. I think he had the talent of Bergkamp but was less mercurial and more ruthless. Bergkamp in his one off moments of genius was untouchable even by Henry, but Pires really was- and actually still is- an outstanding footballer.

I was gobsmacked that only that bellend Cascarino had Pires in his XI of the decade, most underrated player by people outside of Arsenal in the premiership by a country mile. Wouldn't say he had the talent of Bergkamp though, purely because of those moments of pure genius from Dennis...as i'm pretty sure Bergkamp could've lobbed Schmeichal when he was on his line if he fancied it ;)

Henry ALL DAY LONG. Purely and simply- POETRY IN MOTION. If there had never been an Henry, I would've said Dennis. But watching Thierry in flight was a religious experience for me.
