'If It's Football, It's Vital'

So Arsenal Must Be The Toughest In The League?

After a week when Arsene Wenger was somewhat bizarrely criticised for the Premiership match between Arsenal and Bolton being called off (like he ultimately has any say in the final decision), there is a smug sense of irony that come the weekend, Arsenal are just about the only team able to play as the 'big freeze' continues.

Various websites, and those muppets on Talk Sport, took bell-endery to new heights after claiming that the Gunners called their game off because they were 'running scared' or too soft to play in cold weather (seriously guys, ever heard of Andrei Arshavin? he's waltzing around in a string vest whilst you're wearing your extra pair of leg warmers and furry pink hand muffs).

Fast forward three days and almost every single match played in the North, where those big tough ol' boys who will suffer any weather to get the game in, has been cancelled. In fact there's also a couple of London games fallen by the wayside too, wiping out the argument that the weather just wasn't that bad darn sarf ....

So we'll expect all groveling apologies to be hand written to Mr Wenger and placed on his desk by Monday morning ..... that's if the Northern postmen are tough enough to get their rounds done?

I was following the Bolton Arsenal thread on Vital Wanderers :) and it was effing hilarious.
Sajit
It was a bit lucky for Arsenal today.. They did not like playing against Everton in the cold..
guddy69
I'm pretty sure Everton enjoyed it even less than we did .... considering the result.
Rocky7
well done for actually getting it on plus the bonus of two dropped points :-)
merlin
Well Merlin it was our game in hand so being the optomistic dude that I am I like to see it as a point gained.

watch JT go out in a short sleeve shirt and no gloves in this weather like some of your ponces!!
springy
you aint the toughest to beat on the pirxh though considering we have bashed you 4-2 and 3-0 SO FAR this season.
bluemooner_mcfc
HILARIOUS stuff, bluemooner - typical foolishness from a supporter of that never wins anything. Gloating about your FIRST team beating our kids says everything about your incredible sense of inferiority.
jaelle
bluemooner, that is typical small club talk from you. Hardly surprising.
