Pires Opens The Door
Robert Pires has opened the door for other clubs to attempt to whisk him away by saying he can now look elsewhere to play his football.
The Frenchman has bee holding out for a two year deal, but knows Wenger's policy on contracts for the over 30's.
'I am now free to commit myself to another club,'
'I don't want to get too worried with this at the moment and I will see what happens.
'I will meet with Arsene Wenger this month. I will see what he wants to do with me before making any decision about my future.
'I believe I can play at the highest level for another two seasons and I am open to any proposal.
'Everything will depend on the professional and financial aspects. Mentally and physically I feel I am still at the top.''
