Fabregas Rumours Don't Worry Wenger

The monotonous and predictable rumour of Cesc wanting a move to Barcelona often returns after an Arsenal defeat, so it's no surprise that it returned with a vengeance after Arsenal lost 2-0 to Chelsea as the Gunners mini-slump continues.

How many times in recent months have both Cesc and Wenger issued statements to refute these claims? Probably more times than Ol' Purple Nose has a nip of whiskey every day ..... and that's a lot.

Arsene Wenger however remains unconcerned about this persistent annoyance.

'There is no concern at all, what is more of a concern is that we try everything to win something. Cesc is committed when he plays, what`s the future? We don`t know what will happen in six months, in two years, in five years. Your commitment is when you sign your contract and where you play.'

My Grandma passed away a little over 10 days ago, we knew she was going, but that didn't mean it hurt any less, and I think that will also be the case with Cesc, he will leave at some point, we know it, but it's still going to sting.

When that will be is anybodies guess, and that until that day comes, you can bank on the media to keep on guessing

Yes it's a story that will never go away. Even a stopped watch is right at some point.

They say the intelligent are often unsure but the stupid are always cocksure...

Cocksure are you Delta?

Cesc is going nowhere. That's pretty much the end of it. Yet the stories will keep on coming because the media are a parody of themselves and people are stupid and will believe anything fed to them.
