Going To See Eboue, We Can Keep Going To See Eboue

It's OK people, we can carry on only going to see Eboue, he's not going to Roma.

Not that we Gooners believe anything the media says, but rumour had it that Italian team Roma were after the god-like Eboue, presumably to cure disease, eradicate poverty and to bring yet further divinity to the Rome area.

Sadly for the good people of Rome, and happily for us, Eboue's agent says that not only is he not going anywhere, but Roma haven't even made contact about the player.

'It isn't true that Emmanuel is close to Roma, he is happy in England, he has a nice role. I don't understand why this news has spread in Italy.' said Franjo Vranjkovic

'Roma has had no contact with me or with our staff. I can say with confidence that the player is very happy in England and it is unlikely he will move.'

He'll end up in Rome eventually, well vatican city to be precise. 1st black pope, the mafia will overnight cease to be, Berlusconi will throw himself at the mercy of the Italian court and admit all his sneaky criminal dealings, the Roman empire will once again rule the majority of the world.

It must be less than a year ago that so many would have raged apoplectically hearing that Eboue is staying. Now some are disappointed when he isn't in the starting line up. How quickly things can change.

wenger's face lit up when the reporters asked him eboue related questions in today's press conference. He just loves the guy. so do all gooners. I just hope the sang-froid he demonstrated in front of goal on tuesday wasn't merely a one-off.
