'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Nicklas to score a score or more

Never one to hide his light under a bushel the ever assured Danish striker reckons he can get 20 goals for Arsenal this season.

"Although I have started with a bad injury break and have been out in the first few months, I will still strive to fulfill my ambitions in both the Champions League and Premier League. I am going for scoring 20 goals for Arsenal this season - even though I now start late" he told the Danish media before the home game against Birmingham for which he was a second half substitute for Chamakh. With around 15 minutes total playing time he didn`t get too much opportunity to start his tally.

"Last season I was also out for three months, as I have been now, but then it cost me 20 matches. Then I played the rest of the season with my injury and yet I managed 14 goals, so why should not it be possible to reach 20 goals this year?" says a confident Nicklas Bendtner delighted to be back playing "I am insanely happy to be back and cannot wait to get back in the game. I'm in good physical shape - probably the best I've ever been in.'

His goal record for us is pretty handy, he was well off the pace when he came on yesterday but I'd still back him to get into the teens this season.

He was vital last season, keeping us in the title hunt for a while longer. The added competition with Chamakh will only be good for the club. I wouldnt mind seeing Bendtner on the right and Chamakh in the centre (when RvP is injured of course). They can always inter change and cause all sorts of issues to the opposition.

He's just coming to the right age now and already has plenty of experience so expect more vital goals from him this season. I just hope tho people have patience with him to get his match fitness back. It could take until December depending on pitch time until we start to see the best of him so until then every time the ball rebounds off of him or he fluffs a shot we should still get behind him.

One thing he has got is great self confidence. He believes that he can be the best. I really like that. And yes he has scored some really crucial goals for us in the past. Last season his goals against Hull(A), Wolves(H) were crucia for us and maybe Barca(A) could also have been crucial for us but for the exploits of one Lionel Messi

I love this guy's attitude. He's clearly mental, but it's only going to be good for his progression. We're gunna need him unless miracles happens with Robin glass Persie.
Rocky7
You want to hear 'mental'? Diaby, dreaming he can win the Ballon d'or, some time soon...that is mental, Rocky7.
Naijagunner
Not as mental as HuddleTwentStone think Spurs can challenge for the title.
