Arsenal-West Ham Team Line-ups

Sorry guys, I was writing something else and just saw the need to put up the team line-ups. Theo and Nicklas, after their good midweek performances, dropped back to the bench as the boss eased them back into the team after they came back from injuries. The starting XI makes perfect sense to me but what's pleasing is that we see a lot of quality sitting on the bench as well:

Arsenal Starting Line-up
Lukasz Fabianski, Bacary Sagna, Laurent Koscielny, Sebastien Squillaci, Gael Clichy, Alex Song, Cesc Fabregas, Denilson, Andrey Arshavin, Samir Nasri, Marouane Chamakh

Arsenal Substitutes
Tomas Rosicky, Carlos Vela, Theo Walcott, Johan Djourou, Emmanuel Eboue, Nicklas Bendtner, Wojciech Szczesny

West Ham Starting Line-up
Robert Green, Lars Jacobsen, Manuel da Costa, Daniel Gabbidon, Herita Ilunga, Scott Parker, Valon Behrami, Mark Noble, Luis Boa Morte, Victor Obinna, Frederic Piquionne

West Ham Substitutes
Marek Stech, Winston Reid, James Tomkins, Carlton Cole, Pablo Barrera, Radoslav Kovac, Julien Faubert

Come on you Gunners!!

PS: This is the last game that young Jack has to watch as a spectator through suspension. For me, the team sheets will get more and more interesting.

Hmmm less fouls please, less fouls...
GoonerLou
Same old, Green keeping them in the game :P
GoonerLou
Not more of the same please, first half performance was very similar to the W Brom one. W Ham are playing 4-6-0 so we need to put on an extra attacking player, I'd say we take Song off and put Rosicky or Theo on.
gronedrone
Chamakh's fast becoming the most-kicked player after Cesc in the team...
GoonerLou
Reminds me of the playground, legs kicking everywhere.
ajwb
I thought that's a pen?!???!?!
GoonerLou
Bendtner 93rd
ajwb
Is Parker still unbooked?
gronedrone
Arrrrgghhhh I really thought Theo'd score there!! O_O
GoonerLou
You even get a yellow for that in rugby
ajwb
No idea why Parker's still on the pitch, let alone unbooked. Baffling.
GoonerLou
Come on you reds! City are behind, Chelsea drawing, please please please score a goal now! What's going on, why's Nick gone back to the bench? Is he okay?
GoonerLou
Come on Nicky B!!!
GoonerLou
That was the chance to win the match.
gronedrone
***** off green *****e ********

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

SONG ******** YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES ONE SONG
ajwb
Alex Dimitri Song Billong!!!
GoonerLou
and who says Clichy can't cross...
SUX2BU
Plays the holding role, scores the occasional GOAL!!! :D
GoonerLou
Clichy can cross with his right.
ajwb
He might be naturally right footed come to think of it
ajwb
Get in :D
ajwb
Clichy gets man of the match for that assist.
gronedrone
Yes Clichy's naturally right-footed. His dad forced him to practise with his left foot and he's playing on the left side ever since. And it seems that his right isn't too bad! MotM for me is Nasri, he's everywhere again. Poor old Green.. :P
GoonerLou
I'm so glad that "We've only got One Song" :-)
hackneyval
AHHHHHHHHH RODE THE HEART ATTACK WAVE!!!!!!!

Oh, just realised Chelsea won too... That makes it an even more precious 3 points for us. Very very well done to the lads for keeping the pressure on! Now we can watch the drama at OT.
GoonerLou
According to the experts, Mr Song shouldn't have even been on the pitch on account of a dreadful tackle earlier in the game. Yet another example of the officials' attempts not to upset that bully Wenger. It's also pretty obvious that Wenger is prosecuting a violent strategy in the sense that he's telling his players to leave their foots in. This is now the third time this has happened, and it's time Wenger was held to account for his actions. He must be told, without restraint, that he must drop the aggrieved mentality he has instilled in his players before someone is badly hurt; hurt as a form of symbolic restribution for the injuries to Ramsey and others.

Showing his face after the spuddies are defeated in such a humiliating manner?! The sign of a true troll!
TPowell
We lost at Old Trafford as you did last season. An occasion when Wenger was sent to the stands for violent conduct on the side of the pitch, interestingly enough.
Tony Rocky Horror
whatever helps you sleep at night!
TPowell
Woah, Song is getting goals lately. I thought he was a DMF?
ChelseaDC
I was wondering why Cesc had such a shocker today, he had a hamstring problem. Hopefully it's not that bad but I wouldn't be surprised to see him rested against Shaktar.
gronedrone
CDC, we don't really play with a traditional DMF- Cesc is usually the most forward, but all three of them adjust depending on what the other two are doing. Last season Denilson got forward more, this season Song seems to be more attacking. Given that so many teams park the bus against us (and you too), unpredictability is a good way to break them down. Youth and fitness also get us a lot of late goals.
elbondo
Just sing that little SONG.

Cant expect us to go toe-to-toe with you, surely?
ChelseaDC
Anyways, I see what you mean - dynamic midfield. I should know about that.
