Wilshere Signs 'New Long Term Deal'

Wilshere Signs 'New Long Term Deal'

Arsenal wonder-kid, Jack Wilshere has penned a new 'long term deal' to keep him at Arsenal for the foreseeable future.

Jack has been a revelation since the start of the season, we all knew that he was a special talent after a series of cameos for the Gunners, but regular first team action has seen his stock soar ten fold as the midfielder has progressed at a great rate of knots.

Wilshere has been one of our best players this season, something that has not gone unnoticed in the England camp either, with the usual over-reactors claiming he'll be the saviour of English football ..... which maybe the case of course, but it's much too soon to tell for sure ;)

Arsene Wenger is delighted with the deal.

'It's such great news that Jack has committed his long-term future to the Club. Jack is a fantastic footballer with a huge amount of potential, and we have all seen with his performances so far that he is a very gifted player, who could be an extremely influential player at the top level of the game.

'At still only 18 years of age, there is still so much more to come from him and we're all excited by the fact that Jack Wilshere will be an Arsenal player for years to come.'

After Jacks fantastic start to this season I almost forgot about a certain Aaron Ramsey! Its a good time to be an Arsenal fan...with or without trophys.

If Jack is the new Gazza then Ramsey is the new Scholes....I think that was old red noses plan before Master Wenger trumped him!:)
