Podcasts Killed the Radio Star
Having already applied my dulcet tones to the arsecast a few weeks back, confirmation that I have a face for radio was quick in arriving. Some of you will know that away from Vital, I do some moonlighting, contributing to the Gooner fanzine, Arsenal supporters' most popular and biggest selling fan publication since its inception in 1986. In fact, it was my work in the Gooner that caught Paul's eye when he asked me to write for Vital.
The Gooner has been producing bi-monthly podcasts for the last two years or so and this week, yours truly joined Gooner contributor and RedAction member Mark Brindle, our host Gooner contributor David Oudot and Gooner fanzine founder Mike Francis for a Chinese and a few beers in the Stephens' Ink Community Centre in N5 for a natter about all things Arsenal. Topics included the goalkeepers, Alex Song, the defence, Carlos Vela, the Carling Cup and Andrey Arshavin. We also recorded another episode which will air next week, covering more generalist topics. I will post it here again once it is published.
For now, you can find me, mark, Mike and David on this week's Gooner podcast here. I must thank the Gooner for always plugging my work for Vital, as well as themselves, whenever I do something for them. I've never asked them to, but they give this site its dues too. Hope you enjoy and look out for next week's edition too.
