***** Wolves are all over us!!!
Armory
Looks awful! No card for stepping on Song?!
GoonerLou
Well done Fabianski, brilliant performance
bowiecokemirror
Oh dear oh dear, what a string of great saves from Fabi! MotM for me despite Chamakh's well-taken brace!!
GoonerLou
Chamakh on the double! Flap-ianski has turned to Fab-ianski!!
jess_farenesh
Don't think he is good enough though jess, he can play well one game and do something stoopid the next. Would be happier with a new goalie but he is not as bad as many want us to believe.
Armory
He has responded in style. Team performance was very good but this is the moment we have all been waiting for. This was his biggest test, after going on a good run of games being very solid he was eventually going make a mistake which every keeper does but he passed the test of staying mentally strong in the aftermath. Fabianski has turned a corner now in my eyes but he needs to keep[er] this up and surely the fans will forgive him for his performances last season. He can only truly become our number 1 keeper if the fans are fully confident in his abilities.
gronedrone
Well done for the win but shame on fabregas for that challenge, wenger can shove his comments where the sun dont shine when we whines about stoke, bolton, blackburn etc due to bad challenges, that was as bad as they come. Dont no how it wasn't' a red card.
P.Avfc
Yet you say nothing about Karl "jigsaw" Henrys far worse challenge you mug.
Iceman10
The challenge from Cesc wasn't as bad as the Henry lunge on Arshavin but oddly enough you didn't mention that P.Avfc.
gronedrone
Im not a wolves fan i didn't watch the match, i just had the challenge pointed out to me what fabregas did. And iceman you are the mug, you and your manager, you cant slate teams for being thugs but then do it yourself, it isn't the first time this season one of your players has done it either. It isn't just your team but the fact wenger is always moaning about it you get singled out for being hypocrits.
P.Avfc
Sorry iceman, you were there before me.
gronedrone
He won't mention it Grone, he's a troll and a pretty boring one at that.
Iceman10
Just for the record: Fabregas apologised to Ward after the game and Wenger apologised to McCarthy. "I've no problems with the tackle," said Mick. "I've just got a problem when people whinge about my players tackling."
Iceman10
Fair enough, i was just saying it was a poor challenge and i didn't see karl henry's so i cant comment. Wenger cant be a hypocrite about other players challengs really thats my point.
P.Avfc
Oh damn looks like you foiled our evil plan p.avfc! It seems that the world is onto our scheme to change football into a non-contact sport. ... I would suggest that you ACTUALLY read what Wenger has said before you come onto vital Arsenal and start whinging about him & our club. Example: everyone at the club has come out and said that Wilsheres' tackle was unacceptable which it was. Nobody is defending bad tackles by our players or pretending that we are perfect in that respect. It seems insane to me that this has become such an issue as it boils down to this: nobody wants to see broken legs in football regardless of who you support. Suitable punishments would deter ALL players from making reckless tackles (and that includes arsenal players). Woah, rant over.
foochan
Have you even read anything of what Wenger has said? He says we should not be treated any different from the rest, and admits that we make bad challenges from time to time.
ptv-
Oh, and my comment was aimed at P.Avfc.
ptv-
But im just saying that faregas made a poor challenge and should of been send off...simples.
P.Avfc
Not how it works though P.Avfc, which is probably why you shouldn't comment unless you saw the match. The ref was simply being consistent, if Henry's wasn't a send off, then neither was Cesc's, fair game.
Ozi Gooner
"But im just saying that faregas made a poor challenge and should of been send off...simples." You said a little more than that. And unsurprisingly MOTD replayed the Cesc challenge 120 times but didn't show the much more dangerous tackle by Henry. If you haven't seen it was similar to the Robinson challenge on Diaby only travelling a slower speed towards Andrey (who didn't have his leg planted on the ground). Henry got none of the ball by the way and the Halse didn't even give a foul. I must say the referee probably should've sent Cesc off for that challenge and he did have a poor game overall but he did spend a long time out so you can't really blame him. I'm not get into the whole tackling debate as it has been done to death here on Vital Arsenal but for you trolls reading; just go through the archives and read the countless articles written on this issue if you really seek an engaging thoughtful counterview.
gronedrone
Fabregas's was a yellow card challenge, don't make it out to be worse then it was. Henry's was a sending off flat out. Wolves fans can go ***** themselves, 3 points and a deserved win. Great save from Fabianski, but his real challenge, can he go a decent run of games without making a royal ***** up?
FuiKaka
A performance full of resolve from the Arsenal. We played a different kind of game from our usual. Pressed high up the pitch but got men behind the ball when we lost it. Also tried to mix it up and go wide sometimes and not always through the middle. Will have to perform on similar lines on Sunday to win.
Deltaforce
A good win purely out of graft/hardwork by every player on the pitch in red & white, which made it difficult for the manager to make any changes. Keep this up, boys.

As for Cesc's challenge, it is typical of trolls that someone who, admittedly, has not seen the game can just come unto the site to slate the club and manager. Cesc's challenge was intended as a block, the type we see in soccer every other game and the contact with Ward's shin was purely accidental, hence Cesc immediately owns up to it. A yellow card, every day and no more. Word out of the Wolves camp is that he is expected to play over the weekend, so there you go as far as bad tackles go. Henry's challenge was a sure leg breaker and should have been a sending off; how the ref (and MOTD) missed it is a matter for another day.
Naijagunner
Do you guy's really have to pay for that crap on MOTD regardless if you watch it or not?
Armory
Squillaci's performance was one of the best I've seen from an Arsenal centre back in some time. Match report in the post and on its way.
Little Dutch
Agree, but also Sagna was brilliant for me. Id imagine the first choice CB partnership if everyone was fit would be Squillaci & Vermaelen
paul_ownz
The best thing about the tackles (both Henry's and Fabregas's) was McCarthy's comments afterwards - "Yeah we make tackles, just don't bitch about them!" Both tackles were poor, both players should have been off - yet another example of poor refereeing if you ask me.
