King Henry Meets The Queen

After the Queen's no show at the grand opening of Ashburton Grove due to being side lined through a back injury, Her Majesty returned to the side today and invited Wenger and his merry men for tea at the palace.

After a brief tour of the Queen's digs, Henry introduced Her Majesty to the mighty Arsenal squad and playing staff.

The Queen decided to play host to the Gooners after she was left 'disapointed' at not being able to attend the official opening.

A spokesperson said, 'The Queen was disappointed about not being able to officially open the new Arsenal stadium due to her back strain, especially as so much effort had been put in by so many people behind the scenes. Her Majesty therefore decided to host a tea at Buckingham Palace to thank those involved in the project for all their hard work and to have a chance to meet some of those she would have seen on the day.'

Amongst the surreal scenes we're Manu Eboue getting friendly with one of the Queen's hounds, and the hysterical image of Johan Djourou, suited & booted in the home of the Queen of England drinking his tea with a spoon.

Gallas has been back in training for a few weeks now. Wenger just isn't risking him at the moment because he wants to make sure he is 100%!!

"Arsenal's stars make history as they become the first football club to be invited to a reception at the royal residence." The Royal Family are rightfully proud of such an outstanding bastion of English values. Privately, The Queen fears that the influx of foreign investors to the Premiership is eroding English values and that the last time the very fabric of our nation was in such mortal danger was in 1939. Fear not Ma'am, you can rely on Arsenal to protect the sacredness of our English values in the English Premiership.

Thanks HK_Gunner for the link...man look how nervous some of them look especially the young ones who look to have no idea how to act in the situation. Hleb and Rosicky in the last picture are classic hahaha

And I hear that the Queen also told Arsene that Spurs, United and Chelsea are s_h_i_t_e too. She often wears a Bergkamp replica kit under her floral dresses too, rumour has it.

Any mention of Wengers knighthood? If old purple nose got one Sir Arsene of the Royal Arsenal should surely merit one! for services above and beyond improving the mediocrity of English football.
