After the Queen's no show at the grand opening of Ashburton Grove due to being side lined through a back injury, Her Majesty returned to the side today and invited Wenger and his merry men for tea at the palace.
After a brief tour of the Queen's digs, Henry introduced Her Majesty to the mighty Arsenal squad and playing staff.
The Queen decided to play host to the Gooners after she was left 'disapointed' at not being able to attend the official opening.
A spokesperson said, 'The Queen was disappointed about not being able to officially open the new Arsenal stadium due to her back strain, especially as so much effort had been put in by so many people behind the scenes. Her Majesty therefore decided to host a tea at Buckingham Palace to thank those involved in the project for all their hard work and to have a chance to meet some of those she would have seen on the day.'
Amongst the surreal scenes we're Manu Eboue getting friendly with one of the Queen's hounds, and the hysterical image of Johan Djourou, suited & booted in the home of the Queen of England drinking his tea with a spoon.
