Oh Gerard Houllier is playing Bobby in the No. 10 role behind Carew, hmm...
GoonerLou
Yeh im looking forward to seeing Bobby again,i bet he's up for this.
ajwb
Don't want to call Villa a long-ball team but what's this about...?
GoonerLou
What? Was that handball from Jack?!?!? :S
GoonerLou
Andrej!
ajwb
Andreeeyyyyyy!!!
GoonerLou
Ahhhh Samir should have scored really!!! :O
GoonerLou
I think we have to be 4-0 up before I can feel comfortable that the 3 points are safe given our recent capitulations (",)
bowiecokemirror
Yep I wouldn't be surprised if we started playing some crazy mullet system of 1-4-5 in the scond half just to give Villa a chance to get back in to the game!
bowiecokemirror
Cant belive this! Carew needs to F off. lol Long Balls :( Useless. At this rate were gonna lose 0v6.
Blitz
2-0 up at half time despite having missed some chances... apparently cruising... We've come to expect the complacency to kick in but we all hope we're wrong!!
GoonerLou
Who has seen this before?
Sajit
Wooo :)
Blitz
Clichy caught in two minds
bowiecokemirror
Deja vu.Here we go again
ajwb
Good poins from Andy Gray about Carew blocking Fabianski's view, well done Chamakh!!!
bowiecokemirror
Better :)
ajwb
Marouane!! What a poke!! :D
GoonerLou
****in Arsenal going to into cruise mode again.
Gooner_Vin
Why oh why oh why don't they ever learn
Gooner_Vin
Just way way too easy to score against Arsenal + our cruise control mentality when we're winning = no trophies
Gooner_Vin
I don't really blame the defence too much in this game. It's our inability to finish off our goal scoring opportunities at the other end that is the main problem. Villa have had very few chances and managed to score 2 goals. We have managed 3 goals from about a dozen good chances.
bowiecokemirror
Good result,well done Jack
ajwb
Well done lads, good performance overall. Villa Park is not an easy place to get a result. Villa had some injuries but we also have Vermaelen and Fabregas missing and RvP is not fully fit yet either.
bowiecokemirror
Very happy for Jack who got his first league goal. Very well done to him! Players do their badge-kissing stuff but the boy really loves the club! Not sure who to pick for MotM, Chamakh, Arshavin and Nasri did so well, Jack and Tomas also. The back 4 dealt with the danger well enough overall, couldn't blame them too much for the goals. '4-2 to the Arsenal, 4-2 to the Arsenal!' What a game!
GoonerLou
Looks like Jack is the new darling among the gooner faithful.Never seen the away fans this happy for a long long time..like when he celebrated his goal.
Sajit
Does Arshavin drink champagne?? Definitelty a question to ask him on his site. If not then he's gonna waste a whole bottle as he's the nailed on MOTM for me
Eboue=GOD
Looking at the posts on this thread, you would not know we were top of the table. Then, of course, you have to reckon that we have had previous opportunities to do so, but failed. Yet again, with our main rivals still to play, we wait, eh.
Naijagunner
Jack is my favourite player at the moment, always works hard and uses the ball intelligently. Our midifield looks much better balanced with him in it.
bowiecokemirror
Blackburn already 1-0 down; barely 2 minutes in.
Naijagunner
No spuds?
Iceman10
What are you talking about Icey? They mind their own business don't they, too busy for the tiny goons they couldn't care less about aren't they?
GoonerLou
Oh well, top of the table for 45 minutes.
Sajit
Big Sam's side simply rolled over.
Naijagunner
Hope Fat Sam enjoys the Case of Wine from SAF! Nice result for The Arsenal! A happier Saturday for the Fans!
hackneyval
How awesome are our away support?
cestlavie
Great win. Our composure when leading the game needs massive improvement still but the boys deserve this win with our attacking players quite outstanding today. Its puzzling that some fans vent their ire when we let in some goals and then not celebrate on here when we go on to win.
Deltaforce
A right puzzle, DF. It's a typical reaction of the "I told you so brigade".
