I know Obinna is suspended but what's with Scott Parker not playing. There have been some fantastic games today in the EPL (City v Wolves & WBA v B/pool were good adverts for the league). Hope this one continues the trend with a victory for us at the end.

Gooooaaal!! RvP. After a rather unsure start.
Naijagunner
Why does Chris 'Plenanty' Waddle keep refering to us as Arzznal?
Rocky7
Playing really well so far. Evem Ebouse is doing well.
Rocky7
who the hell is Ebouse?
Armory
Ginger Djourou

Eboue.Like abused..at right back?
ajwb
2-0 nicely played
ajwb
Brilliant goal, brilliant performance so far. Really happy with this.
Rocky7
we need to score more the catch utd in goal difference
Gooner SA
Carlton Cole is been a handful for JD hasn't he? Forced quite a few errors off him too. A nice way to end the half.
Naijagunner
Yayyy the good old Arsenal are back!! :D
GoonerLou
RvP's been so sharp, we may only see Chamakh play as a bit part player the rest of the season. It is a good problem to have when you can keep your top scorer on the bench, no.
Naijagunner
Half time and everything looking rosy. Good effort by all but especially Fab and Nasri, they link up together so well. Fab must certainly be aware that he would miss that if he thought about moving on
lifeisagooner
So far, so good. Let's keep the focus and put our chances away. Great to have RvP back, he makes such a difference to us. And, yes, the interplay between Cesc and Samir reminds of the understanding that Henry and Pires had. Just wish Djourou would be his commanding self of the past few days.
Gooner_Vin
RvP is looking like his old self. If he can stay fit till the end of the can have a massive say for us.
Rocky7
RvP looks hungry its been a while since I've seen that look about him.
lifeisagooner
Eboue's still a liability. God help us against Barcelona. Wish we could step it up.
Gooner_Vin
You still feel we need to put this to bed with a 3rd goal then bring in some subs.
Naijagunner
We need another goal. I hate 2 - 0
Rocky7
hahaha... whats going on with the west ham supporters? they're all falling asleep
lifeisagooner
3-0!!! Game over.
Naijagunner
here comes the third,,,, penalty
lifeisagooner
Thank you Rob. I can now relax. Let's see this same line up against leeds.
Rocky7
get in..... that was never going anywhere else. good penalty
lifeisagooner
Can you believe it? Sleeping at a soccer game.
Naijagunner
sacked in half an hour
ajwb
why Denilson... he's been terrible lately
lifeisagooner
What a debut for Bridge... Got tortured by Theo the whole evening and conceded a pen... :P
GoonerLou
great performance, great result. a clean sheet was a must
lifeisagooner
Poor Avram Grant....how bad can it be coming out as a Manager, knowing it could be your last game?
Naijagunner
What a difference Nasri and Wilshere made today. Excellent midfield play sustained through both halves. And the pressing was back. It really is so importnat to our game. We stood firm in the face of early intimidation and once the 2nd went in you could see the Hammers' spirit had gone. One or two concerns about Djourou's composure at the back, but on the whole a really fanatstic performance.
Wyn Mills
The difference was really just 2 players; RvP and Nasri. Their movement, intelligence and ability allowed everyone else to play. RvP had no problem moving out of the centre to receive and play the ball and allow the midfield, principally Cesc and Wilshere to run beyond him or to create the space for Nasri and Walcott to fill. Such a dramatic difference just with a more fluent and intelligent forward line working as a unit instead of 3 individuals. Even Eboue was able to be the raiding full back that he can be.
Amos.
Well done Arsenal (or Arzznal if you're a desperately inadequate lardy pundit whose surname rhymes with Twaddle) but West Ham were desperately abject today. Even with Djourou having a bit if a stinker and contriving to gift the spammers into the game we still kept a sheet of cleanliness. Crucuial that RVP is scoring from free play again as in his 9 games back from injury he's onlyt notched 2 from a pen and FK, looks much sharper and fitter now, if he stays fit we can win summit this season.

We played well against WH admittedly a depleted WH side, but you can only beat what is in front of you and we were deserved winners to night. What worries me though is this going to be just another false dawn or are we going to carry on from here.
Armory
Song was the man today. He was strong on the ball, bumping off challenges, and breaking up their midfield play. Good to see.
Will-i-am10
Anyone who says Cesc is 'disinterested' just have a look at how he won the ball back from Tomkins in the build up to our 2nd goal. Pure class
Eboue=GOD
It was 'nice' to see RvP hit the post. The lad is truly back...
Omogusii
3 clean sheets in a row with these 10 outfield players, what is this blasphemy?! Must say Szhezzas save was top class, He seems to have that demented starfish style down to a tee and at 1-0 and with us missing chances it was a big moment. Wayne Bridge 90k a week? Thats everything that wrong with modern football right there.
