Relief As Redknapp Vows To Keep Woodgate

Relief As Redknapp Vows To Keep Woodgate

Harry Redknapp says there's no chance of Johnathan Woodgate coming to Arsenal, much to the relief of Gooners everywhere.

A crazy rumour emerged over the weekend that Arsenal were looking to sign the most injury prone player in football history (well, it's a tie between him and Ledley King actually) as cover for our injured centre backs. Yes, crazy huh?

I never thought for one minute that this rumour was true, but it's good to hear Twitchy McTwitcherson put paid to any speculation.

'No, not a chance. We wouldn't let him go there. We want to keep him,' claimed 'Arry after being asked if the Woodgate to Arsenal rumours were true.

'He's out of contract in the summer so if we let him out on loan, then we're not giving him away unless he signs a new deal before he goes.'

He actually said this with a straight face like it was a good thing for Tottenham.

When you say 'straight face' I presume you mean that only as a figure of speech Rocky? There's very little straight about 'arry, least of all his face.

"Jonathan's doing well. He's coming back and when he's fit, he's a top, top centre-half." One careful owner as well yeah Arry? Woodgate is as close to the human equivalent of a "cut and shut" as you will ever find.

Harry Redknapp talks like a cartoon character, he can't be a real person.

Rocky, this article brought a smile to my face; then I saw Amos' post and almost burst my sides. That was hilarious, indeed.

Im still baffled you signed Silvestre. Would of been ridiculous seen as though hes not French, Distan would be more realistic.

HY, There must surely be some second hand car lot Harry can suggest to his board as a good potential site for a new spurs stadium, rather than trying to grab the Olympic stadium. What a shabby mess.
