So glad Wenger has stuck with the same backline. And RVP is in good form at the moment so thumbs up there too.
Wyn Mills
The changes aren't in the places I thought they'd be ..... but that's still a very strong side. Good picks by AW. Arshavin to score two goals and we'll get our little Russian back!
To say I'm happy with the lineup would be an understatement. I heard Nasri has a little bit of an ankle knock so I can understand that change, but other than that, I'm glad we've only made 3 changes.
Alan Hansen just made his first funny comment in history. Matt Holland said "It's important Ipswich get to halftime without conceding" Hansen retorted "I think it's more important they get to full time without conceding" lol
Its a good line up but one missing attribute is a turn of pace which both Nasri and Walcott have. Song in his current form is a significant missing piece but hopefully Denilson will have a good day today. The presence of Sagna is reassuring.
The bus is parked alright.
Sad about Sagna. Eboue needs to get his act together today.
The evergreen threesome between RvP and the bar& post continues.
Blackpool 2-0 up over United but knowing their luck lets not celebrate yet.
Not yet, DF, Man Utd have the 12th man in the ref.
Ipswich are defending in numbers and we need Nasri on sooner rather than later it seems.
It must be said Ipswich is defending well, but we still have a lot more in us, yet. A 19 year old is bossing the midfield tonite. Great stuff from Jack, so far.
It's going to be one of those days. We're not going to score and even if we do, Ipswich will probably come back to break my heart.
Come on Gunners!!! Please! Please! Please!..Give me something to cheer this year..Even if it's a Mickey Mouse Cup..That'll do for now!!!
What is it with van Persie and the woodworks? I worry that it is Eboue and not Sagna; Eboue looks so uninterested and slow tonite.
OMG United truly have the ref in their pocket. Rafael Da Silva shoulder barges a blackpool player in the final third and a penalty is waved off.
That bell end Hansen talking about continentals bringing diving into the game. Not only did Cesc say 'i lost my balance' to the ipswich player, but he never appealed for a penalty. Now whether he did or took a tumble then realised what he'd done and dint appeal only he will know.
Arshavin cannot pass this evening to save his life.

My heart sank when Eboue came on to be honest. We need more threat down the flanks than Bendtner/Eboue and Arshavin/Clichy are giving us.
Wyn Mills
Hope this doesn't go into extra time, pleeeaase.
Oh thank goodness I've finally found a reliable you-know-what!
We need substitutions now. Something has to change.
Ive got a feeling.. And its not nice.
Just to make matters worse, united , tie it . 2-2. It just keeps getting worse.
well done NICKY B!!!!
OK your feeling's been answered - Utd just equalised at Blackpool. Otherwise nothing to worry about.
yess!!! ******** great goal
Ah Nicky B just agreed with me, nothing to worry about!! :D
kossssssh :DDDDDD
I jinx :) , Lou
What a time to score his first goal (",)
I have high hopes for Blackpool, in this game, Sajit.
Now, the club do need a proper right back to give Sagna some competition. Eboue doesn't cut it on recent displays.
Away goals only count after 30 mins of extratime. Let's keep a clean sheet and not worry about that though.
Ridiculous refereeing
Argh you-know-what wasn't smooth and I saw Cesc pleading saying something to the ref, what happened there?
2 assists for Arshavin and we're going to Wembley
Wembley it is!!
Yayyyyyyy! I hope the goal for Bendtner and 2 assists for AA will give them more confidence!! :)
We're going to Wembley!!!
Get in. Job done. Let's go win a tin pot cup.
lovely! when is the final?
That's the 1st time I have ever seen a referee give a foul against him self!!
And man, there is something about Jack that gets me very excited and I mean that in a footballing way;)
Sunday 27th
Wembley ! Wembley ! Wembley ! Wembley ! Wembley ! Wembley ! Wembley ! Wembley ! Wembley ! Wembley ! Wembley ! Wembley !
Sunday, 27th of Feb. Wembley date.
How do you explain all the stick Arshavin has been getting? 2 assists in this game and topping the assists chart. How good can being 'lazy and uninterested' get? Lol.
Well done team? Wembley- fantastic!
Yessss!!! February 27th!
YES!!!! Wem-ber-ley!! Wem-ber-ley!!
WE'RE GOING TO WEM-BER-LEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why do The ARSENAL like to make their fans sweat? 60 mins of nail biting! Can't wait until 27th! Hope that the Day when we get a Cup! Come on The ARSENAL!
Great day all around - Arsenal going to new Wembley for the first time, Adepaymore sent packing, sexist Gray sacked - except Sagna. My you-know-what wasn't great and I didn't see it. What happened there? Do you think he's okay? Sagna's been a beast for us this season! Eboue should be able to do a job against Huddersfield though. Just hope Bacary isn't badly injured.
Seems like the Tractor boys parking ticket was only good for 150 minutes. Bendtner manged to do from the left what Arshavin has struggled to do - get past his man and score. Fortunately Arshavin got two assists so he's a great player once more.
I don't think it is serious GoonerLou, more like bang on the head and he was probably taken off as a precaution.
Phew, cheers! :)
Jack Wilshere my lord Jack Wilshere, oh lord Jack Wilshere :) Bit tense but we stayed patient and our quality took over. Who do we fancy then Brum or Spam?
Que sera seraaaaaa.
Jack was pretty feckin sublime tonight huh Iceman? fair play to Bendtner that was a beautifully taken goal. West Ham please can't see it though.
Bendtners goal was Bergkampesque.
Jacky boy has a beautiful mixture of talent and desire, he really drove the game tonight.
So stressed after that game. I fecking hate this team for throwing me down a rollercoaster like that. ;0)
Wyn Mills
I guess TRH lost his hard on.
Lol! Will-i-am10. I was just thinking that....
West Ham for me. Easier to beat I think and a London debry would be a better amotpshere!
A 27th February date will mean our 26th Feb fixture with Spurs will be re-scheduled. Just hope this doesn't add to our fixture glut as the team looks like it will be in most/all of the races for a long while yet.
I'd like WHam, I'd like an all London affair (the West Ham boys are good lads as well) and West Ham try to play football. Brum would just turn up and try and kick the ***** out of us. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that makes us less likely to win per se, but I could see a couple of injuries if we play them. Funny, I was talking with a few mates in the pub after the game about that Bendtner goal. Someone said it was Bergkampesque, I countered it felt it had a touch of the Henrys about it. Not a bad pair of yardsticks to debate with.
Little Dutch
The touch of Bergkamp, the flick of Henry ... but I'd say the finsh was more Pires. How'd you like them apples? :)
What are you talking about? Comparing Bendtner to Bergkamp, Henry and Pires? Are you saying he is in fact the world's greatest striker?
Wyn Mills
I asked Bendtner himself and he says it was the touch of Zidane, the flick of Maradona and the finish of Gerd Muller. He was at pains to stress that he wasn't comparing himself to those players because, "I'm much better than them. Obviously."
Little Dutch
Oh Lord.
Wyn Mills
I was an excellent goal, I thought the first touch was pure Henry.
No 10
I'd say Bergkamp myself with a Pires finish.
I was wondering what that zip was on the back of Bendtners neck? I'm guessing that was Henry in an XXL Jedward costume ;)
