Gallas Is Back!!!

William Gallas has returned to the Arsenal squad after almost three months out with a thigh injury

Billy suffered the injured with the last kick of the ball in training and has struggled to regain fitness ever since.

Wenger is beaming to have the Frenchman back as Arsenal enter the business end of the season and remain challengers in all 3 cup competitions.

"It is good to have him back," said the manager at his pre-match press conference. "We are now in the part of the season when experience is needed. We are sometimes a bit young at the back so it is a big lift to have him in the squad again. We worried about him for a while with his setbacks so it is tremendous.

"I don`t know yet if he will start. I have not had a much time to think about it since Bolton. I have put him in the squad because I will rest some players. I`ll have to see whether I start him or not."

After quickly becoming a firm favorite amongst the Gooner hoards, it's safe to say we're glad to have him back.

Will Kolo FINALLY get a rest now? The man is tired
G4L
I think maybe Kolo will get a rest tomorrow. He does look tired. Fantastic to see Billy back tho. Was wondering if hed ever play for us again.

jesus he has played 39 games, and we are only in the middle of february! if he was to be rested who would you want to see partner him? i would definitely go for johan myself.
kingdennis
would have to be Johan. Isn't Senderos still suspended? Wouldn't be surprised if Traore started tomorrow instead of Gael.

Brilliant news! Things are going so well at the moment that no matter who plays you still feel confident that the lads will get the result. Toure is a machine!!! 2-0 to the Arsenal tomorrow!

kolo should be rested tomm, start billy to get his fitness levels back before tuesday along with swiss tony to get his much needed confidence back. the guy is class, and only in his early 20's. just give him sometime and he'll be a rock at the back for many more years to come..
luckys_10
djourou is out injured, senderos is back from suspension, so we will likely see Toure/Senderos play as gilberto is rested, and billy gallas will get a run around in the last 5 or 10 minutes, maybe at left back to rest clichy, maybe in the middle to rest kolo - ROLL ON SATURDAY!
bootoo
absolutely top drawer news! agree with a previous comment, give Kolo a rest, the man has given everything this season as he always does and rightly deserves a rest

god news, at last for gallas. he's been out forever. i doubt arsene will start him tomorrow, but with injuries to djourou, you never know. and toure deserves a break, since we need him for the CL match and CC finals.

WOOHOO!!! YAYNESS! Forgive me for shrieking like a little girl inside a candy shop, but I'm just too happy to hear this piece of news. ^____^v

I reckon Gallas comes in as a sub the next two games, then starts against Chelsea in place of Toure in the league cup final (he'll want to make up for missing the Stamford Bridge match).
Shinobi
Sweet, i wonder who the back 4 will be and how they line up.

Pity Arsene doesn't want to play Willy against us in Cardiff, could be a mistake!
