Rosicky ahead of Arshavin is an interesting one. While Tommy does not have the same type of attacking prowess as Arshavin has, he certainly does a good job tracking back and pressurising the opponent.

Rosicky is the right choice I think (I hope), it's imperitive we don't concede in the first 30 minutes and hopefully Tommy's tackling skills will help with that. Then we'll unleashe Double A with 20 to go to rip their hearts out again!

Fab's been ***** poor in the first half. He and Diaby are the main culprits in giving the ball away cheaply. Let's hope both of those come out fired up in the 2nd half. And I feel Rosicky's leaving Sagna too exposed down our right. He's tucking in rather than tracking Adriano's runs. I thought Rosicky's selection was based on the fact he could track back. He hasn't justified it uptil now one bit.

It is still in the balance; Arsene has to tell the lads to get a grip of themselves as it won't do us any good losing our heads. The 2nd half is going to be a long one because I feel we were trying to react to the goal by opening things up. I'd counsel we keep it tight till the later parts of the game, then open up. Any other tactic and we could ship in goals (what with Almunia in goal. Oh, bother). It is not our usual game we are playing and this could just be a dizzying experience for our team.

Amazing some of the criticism we're getting - this is the world's most difficult team to defend against and we did a very good job of it despite being forced to put on Almunia and having a ref who keeps booking our players. Up until this game I've shared the anger gooners feel toward Barca but not that intense hatred that many feel. I think I've finally swung in that direction after that despicable first half. Seriously, Cesc-you play in a team with far more honor than the one you came from.

Secondly there is nothing wrong with our defense no matter what anyone says, they were all immense tonight and our defensive record in the premier is one of the better ones. Many of the goals that we have conceded have been because the attack and midfield do not work hard enough to close the other team down.

Second half, the disgraceful ref issued what must have been the most blatant caving-under-pressure example of a red card in history. They needed a numerical advantage to beat you. Yes, after that you were battered, but the loss of the focal point of your attack meant they didn't have to worry at all. While I am amazed by the football Barcelona played, and I do agree that Arsenal's 'two banks of four' approach was an ill way to try to stall out the game, the fact that the referee did not blow for so many fouls on their players yet did blow for several fouls on barca that never were, plus the sending off, plus the fact that Van Persie's first yellow card was incurred for a protective shove on abidal who had grabbed him by the throat, and so deserved to be sent off himself, leaves a bitter taste in the mouth regardless.

BM if you draw against Barca at the Nou Camp it will be a big result indeed. Maybe you will only know how tough it is to play this current Barca team when you actually play them.

i prey we are that lucky delta, i just wish we could be in this competition every season and i fear this could be the biggest moment in our history for a while, hate the thought of not making the CL next season and losing the likes of Bale, Modric.
