Our Last Chance In The Form Of A NLD

Ok, this really is last chance saloon.

I know, I know, we`ve said that a million times already this season, but each time Man Utd contrive to give us yet another last chance. However time is running out and so are the matches.

We thought that after Sunday`s debacle that it was all over, well it`s still a mammoth task, but if we can get a win tonight against the old enemy and cut the lead to 4 points then with United having to play Chelsea and come to our gaff it`s certainly not beyond the realms of imagination that we could pull it off.

Any game at White Hart Lane is a big ask, but we`ve already won there once this season albeit over 120 minutes, but whilst this team has little experience at closing the deal and winning some silverware, they`re more than adequately experienced at beating Tottenham.

The league game in 2004 at White Hart Lane was one of the biggest North London derbies I can remember, but it wasn`t as important as this one. That game was just the icing on the cake of what turned out to be an amazing season, had we lost, it would have been heart wrenching, but ultimately we would have still won the title.

Tonight is a different matter. It really is sh*t or bust.

It`s a big game for Tottenham too, they need 3 points to ensure their Champions League ambitions are kept intact for next season, and having beaten us twice in the last two seasons their confidence will be up and they will believe they can beat us, and we know they can beat us too.

It`s going to be White Hot Lane tonight, and our boys need to shake all other thoughts from their heads, forget the league, forget what came before this match, forget the massive errors we`ve committed over the last couple of months, the only thing that`s important is what is so important to football fans over the world …… Beating your local rivals.

Take care of that, and the points will take care of themselves.

Only sheep-like red top readers would believe that Cesc slated the club. Try reading something more educational than The Sun or The Star ..... "Run Spot Run" would be adequate.
