Who else thought it was 4pm kick off?
I predict we're gonna get shut out once more by these ****s with Cesc out as well we will have even less cutting edge. They will be happy to defend deep and soak up the pressure. It will be real tough to get in behind their back four.
Going to be tricky without Cesc and puts a burden on Robin van Persie to lead and perform at the same time. Also worrying is to see no direct midfield replacement on the bench. For pride, boys....let's do this!
Time we wisened up to that old tact of theirs. Theo should be able to get behind them....then, their is Arshavin to call upon.
Same old story against them. They've sat back again and soaked all of it up
Funny, the Ref looks to have had way too much interference with our play than is to be expected. Intercepting passes, not giving fouls and that blatant handball by Vidic should have been a red and a sending off!
*a penalty and sending off.
And what they don't soak up they simply palm away. ;)
Brilliant debut for United by Foy.
koscielny would have got 2 red cards for that handball, and a penalty
Goooaaal!! Rambo!!!
We need to give Utd their own treatment now. Soak and counter...
One key observation on Szczessny, he hardly comes out to take from corners.
.....Go down and stay down a while, when fouled.....keeper too can join in the act, the way Van der Sar does it once United are under the crush. We can do this with some calmness. Don't think this United side have much more in the tank. JD is injured again. Oh dear!
Arsenal, learning so late in the season, how to see out a game. Mhmmm.
We won it!!
too late, but good 3 pts
Well done Arsenal
Well done kids
Rip The Reds Apart
Thanks gunners:)))))) KTBFFH
who says arsenal can't hold a lead?
cheers lads! your still **** tho
Feels good man.
Well well if it isn't St Totteringham's day! Well played team, battling performance. Was glad to see Arshavin track back and put in some tackles.
Absolutley made United look like Grandpas today. Now, here's the problem. How do those mouthing off about Arsenal needing a "commanding centre half, No non sense DM and a 20 goals a season striker" (practically the entire team) get to justify such calls? This team only needs confidence which may be assisted by addition of just ONE winner of a player. The position is immaterial.
What a performance. Special praise goes to Sagna and Clichy who coped admirably against the wingers. And well done to Andrey Arshavin who came on at half time and ran all over the place tracking back and making tackles. For such a terrible season that people are making it out to be, Arsenal have beaten Chelsea, Barcelona and United. Nice to see RAMBO back at the Emirates with a bang.
Gun 'Em Down
All four CL semi-finalist lost this weekend. I'm glad we held out for the win. I don't think I would've been able to watch another game of football this season had they equalised. We absolutely deserved all three points and oh yeah. HAPPY ST.TOTTERINGHAMS DAY.
Wow, thank you gunners. Well played, Arsenal showed such hunger I haven't seen in ages with every tackle in the final twenty minutes. Not even Vidic and his hands could keep your lot out, running rings around those average red devils. Congrats! (and thanks!)
Amazing how the league has fluctuated this season.
Great performance, especially from Wilshere and Koscielny. I still feel we would have more of an attacking threat if we had a striker who was more powerful in the air. A lot of our crosses are wasted because there is no one capable of challenging for the ball in the air. Maybe Chamakh could be that player if he improves his fitness and can last a season. I'd still like us to sign another striker tho more than anything else over the summer.
Oh thanky you so much, we'll pick up where you left off!
This one is just for Niko.....Thank you so much.... you absolutely wonderful GOONER .. Fabulous ..Glad to see Arsenal still know what it tmeans to not only win , but TO BEAT United now ... UNBELIEVABLE!! And VERY WELL DONE.. EXCELLENT...and a GOLD STAR..
Ha! Arsenal have failed miserably this season, but I'm actually pleased at this result. It will give Wenger more time and that can only mean more suffering for all those at the Woolwich International Plastic Crisp Bowl . Happy 'Wenger and Arsenal win ***** all once again' day to all fans of the only true North London club.
Tony Rocky Horror
I hope and pray Chelsea don't win the title. What a tragedy that would be for the sport. No-body wants to see it, but, as usual, Woolwich Wanderers do what they can to pervert the course of truth and justice. In Basil You Rust!

Sub standard wind up play TRH. You can do better. Happy St Totts day to you.
From the guardian comments board - "Feel sorry for Chris Foy, it's a horrible feeling when you play that well and still end up on the losing side."
LOL. how many times did he get in the way of Arsenal passes? 3?
Happy st Totts TrollRH, now toddle off with your PATHETIC goal difference of +7 and try and convince the hairless monkey and madame Modric that 6th place means you are closing the gap on the big boys. No gooner can be ecstatic with our season but looking down on shaky face in 6th place after his claims that you could win the title will always raise a smile.
Why does TRH even bother? Great win for the only CL team in North London! I think Man United expected a coronation but just got crowned.
And it's funny how no Gooners bother to troll the VS boards. Then again, we don't have to. After they lose (or Gomes tries to outdo himself for 'howler of the season') they get the long knives out themselves- it's so funny and pathetic no outside comment is needed.
Happy St Totterings folks! Enjoy the euroPAH next year frillywhites :) I'm sure it'll be a gas trawling to European backwaters to face part time goatherders, especially without your chimp mascot and his sidekick ratface girly boy modric.
Thanks to Melvyn too, as you seem to be quite taken with me you can follow me on twitter if you like @myclubisfreeofgangstersbloodroubles
A big thank u to ass , i always knew you had it in you. Wow this feels so good...
You're being a bit optimistic there Niko. Now City have virtually secured 4th Stoke will go into the UEFA cup leaving trembles, the monkey and Madame Modric with corrie and eastenders to contend with should they end up where they are now.
Thank you <3

Great win and shows how much Ramsey has been missed. His playing allowed Song to do a better job as holding player.

So there is life after Fabregas, very well played and very well deserved. Funny though, normally you will dominate us for possession and shots whilst we will make the most of our chances and small amount of possession, it would appear vice-versa this time round: - I guess football doesn't always win, eh? Once again, well done.
Shouldn't take too much comfort from the BBC stats TFN7 - they're notoriously wonky. The opta stats have us 55.4% possession, 56.2% territorial advantage with 20% more passes and 82.4% accuracy to your 76.5%. We also made more tackles and with greater success than you did too. You may have had more shots on target but the majority of those were from outside the box and from set piece opportunities. We created more from open play. Make no mistake - football was the winner today too.
Happy St Totts day to all and this will seal the CL place that I genuinely feared was in danger. everyone played their part. Thought that Song had his best game for months, back to what he does best - unloading the opposition and although he may over do the confidence show a bit, at least Sczesny looks as though he believes that he should be a top PL keeper.
Thanks to the players, this afternoon Us fans can hold our heads up. After the last few games it's been hard to do that. as the players had unperformed!! But today they semed up for the fight and gave Manure a really game!
Hey! TFN7. What game were you watching? You don't need Stats (least of all, the BBC's) to tell that United were dominated today. Hell. Until we scored, the possession stats were like 72% to Arsenal; you were outpassed and even out thought today. As usual, United defended well and protected VDS's area. I'll still wish you good for the rest of the season.
It is amazing how the team grew up overnight and put together a good fight. I feel that SONG was the unsung hero, he really protected the back four very well. Am proud of Wilshere and RAMBO. AA was particularly good defensively. All in all we were good.
Think that performance showed how valuable Ramsey is to your team. He enabled Song to sit as holding midfield player and boy did he do a good job. Wilshere and Ramsey look like being your future. Made the Rags look pretty ordinary. Why though don't United players get sent off when they do what Vidic did?
