I hate the home crowd!
Seriously, why do we sign such stupid players? why on earth did Arshavin foul pennant for?
And where exactly is Sagna going leaving Pennant a free run at goal? Seriously you cannot make this up. Meanwhile Rice and co sit on the touchline looking totally clueless.
Wyn Mills
What a poor, poor performance. I means seriously, where is the fight, desire and quality? Shocking.
Can you hear those bottles rattling again? Oh no it's just arsenal bottling it as usual! Haha HONK HONK HONK!!! Whooooopsssss!
The percentages only fell one way in that half.
Song, Arsahvin, the two wing backs...even Ramsey have no idea they're in a battle out there. We want to pass the ball like its a training match at Colney. Our lot seem to think we have all the time in the world to do it too. I see far too many players looking surprised to be passed the ball or pick up a loose ball. When we get players who have desire and fight in them as well as talent maybe we'll start to get somewhere. Thank goodness Citeh lost yesterday.
Wyn Mills
tell me I'm dreaming someone,please!

Amos, what have percentages got to do with the price of bread? There's only one stat that matters and that's how many times the ball crosses your opponent's line.
Wyn Mills
This isn't down to bad luck, every team knows how to play against us. Defend deep and let us have all the possession knowing we can't hurt them as long as they mark up and don't leave gaps. There simply won't be any space to get behind their defence. Our crossing is poor and pointless most of the time as we have no one capable of winning the ball in the air. No one in the team has the balls to shoot from long range either. Then the opposition can simply rely on set pieces or counter attacks to score against us as we get frustrated and commit too many players forward. We are so incredibly one dimensional it's easy to figure us out.
Rattle Rattle Rattle
4-4-2?! Zut alors!
Can't see us scoring. This game also shows why our current formation, set-up and players mean an over-reliance of an in-form Cesc.
Walcott anonymous
Gibbs, Theo, too many players having ***** games... Chamakh, RvP
smart ref
Wilshere needs to be taken off and sat down for the rest of the season. Absolutely no need for some of his stupidity today.
Oh god. How does van Persie miss that? We have been just as bad offensively as we have defensively over the past couple months.
'The percentages only fell one way in that half'. Stand back and marvel at the idiot.

Choco leg strikes again
Like I said. Total ******** farce! Love it.
Tony Rocky Horror
Hahaha. Well done Arsenal.
At least the win against Man Utd won't paper over the cracks with this result coming straight after.
defensive mistakes!!! argghhhh!!!
e dubbz
walcott was poor! he should have taken him off ages ago!
e dubbz
You could compile a DVD of defensive howlers this season that would fill a double disc Blu-ray.
Wyn Mills
Expected nothing better. Have come to expect such post season fare. No effort. Minimal urgency. Thought we'd have learnt our lessons now. But season after season after season we've seen these collapses from us. Something is wrong with this team. And nobody can actually point out what it is. Is it Arsene and his principles?? Is it lack of effort?? Is it because the players aren't good enough?? Nobody can actually pinpoint what the problem is. I just think something big needs to happen this summer. Whether in the boardroom or in the dressing room or anywhere related to The Arsenal. A catalyst is required.
Arsenal bottled even the slim chance they had least they consistent bottlers
If Osama were alive and rumours of him being an Arsenal 'admirer' are true then Seal Team Six would probably have their work cut out.
CL is always the target :)
We'll probably just win the Emirates Cup. The most prestigious competition in the world.`
Utd 1-0 up. That's the way to score a goal. Direct and at speed. Something we used to be good at.
Wyn Mills
Cliched conclusion: we lost to ourselves. Oh well at least even Wenger can't stay blind to the flaws in the team.
Interesting summer thats for sure.I wonder who will go first?
Don't hold your breath. The excuses will start as soon as the season is over and memories start to fade.
Wyn Mills
Wyn - you're right about Utd. If that were Arsenal, there'd be about 6-8 passes before it got to the final third.
Excuse number one: The pitches in this country are very very bad. I have to lodge a complaint with the FA.
Utd 2-0 up! A cross from the left. A decent cross mind. Aimed at someone who was actually attempting to get on the end of it.
Wyn Mills
Who will go first eh?? I vote Denilson. Then probably Rosicky although I hate to see him go. He's been a good servant to the club.
Whoever it was that said jack was stupid I couldn't disagree less. He's the only one who has realised what each and every game is vital and he works his arse of to try and win it. If everyone else was like him we'd be golden. Cracking tackle on Pennant too .... people call us soft but when we give a little back they cry like little girls. As for the performance .... what a load of ****. lol My work here is done.
The only way Rosicky has served this club is by keeping the treatment table warm for the other players. He's a nice bloke and everything, but he won't go down as a club legend.
Wyn Mills
denilson, squillaci, bendtner. they should go!
e dubbz
Agree with you about Jack. Shows more fight and desire in one match than I see from older players in the entire season.
Wyn Mills
I think Cesc might be gone first....Somethings got to give
The thing I meant about Rosicky was about him never moaning at all. In all his days over here he's never ever complained about not getting playing time etc etc. The sort of thing that a Bendtner does.
And no one can question Jack. He looks like he is the only one willing to fight for the badge out there.
I keep watching the first goal we conceded and can only laugh uncontrollably. For an opponent to chest the ball in from within the 6 yard box is just taking the feckin mick. Truly shambolic. For all the praise he's had recently that goal really exposed Chesney's inexperience as well as our shoddy defending.
Wyn Mills
I don't see how that first goal was Chesney's fault. RVP should have cleared it with his head firstly and Djourou who was marking Jones should have stayed with him better.
The ball cleared RVP and I thought was in range for Chesney to come off his line and fist it clear. He stood on his line meaning unless the ball flew straight at him he had no chance. Its not the first time Chesney has been rooted to his line either. He's young and will develop into a fine keeper for us, I have no doubt. But I saw inexperience in that first goal.
Wyn Mills
Fair enough, but I think he really expected RVP to clear the ball so was caught by surprise and didn't really have time to adjust in my opinion.
I'm not sure how anyone can blame Sczezny for the first goal, from corners keepers have to either stand their ground or come to claim the ball, I don't think that ball was ever there to be claimed. Rvp could have cleared it (maybe), if you really must point the finger of blam then's it's at djourou for losing his man.
Barcelona to win European Cup? Man United to win league and CL? Stoke, Pulis and Shawcross to lift FA Cup? Maybe you could spend the afternoon dusting off that empty trophy cabinet. You know spend your time productively. How about the balance sheet parade...hurt much? COYS!!
Tony Rocky Horror
Hey Tony. Number of Domestic trophies (Top league, Fa & league cups), Spurs 14, Arsenal 25. End of discussion.
Ps, enjoy the Europa league.
I know that ultimately we have had a very disappointing season, I know there are problems a plenty, but godammit if I don't love my club.
vs Man Utd = what we can do vs Stoke = what we did'nt do
good shout mygoon. There are glimpses of fulfilling our potential, but our lack of consistency has been our undoing. Clearout needed.
You're wrong Rocky. That tackle would have had Wenger in flames. *****in awful tackle. When he is getting into a pushing match 4 times in one game, something is wrong. There's a difference between showing fight and making terrible challenges.
SELL THEM ALL raaaaaah
In your opinion I'm wrong, the fact is he played the ball & barely touched the man. We can either play by our own rules and get pushed around the pitch, or we can get tough. Despite what has happened this season, none of it is down to physicality. We're bigger and stronger than we've been in recent seasons and it has improved us. I'd go as far to hazzard a guess that the only reason Jack got booked was for the pushing and shoving, and it's the same reason Pennant got booked. You shoud also notice that in the pushing matches he got into, he was never the instigator. Whilst it's not the most sensible thing to get involved in this stuff, he's showing fight, he is only 19 and is still learning. He's going to make some mistakes, but he's a great player who oozes desire, and I'm not going to slate him for that.
Yep I said something similar on the forum. He got the ball in each tackle and challenges like these are what we love to see, but the reckless ones like Shawcross', Taylor's and one from Jack himself earlier in the season are too excessive and need to be eradicated. Players like Fletcher, Terry and Gerrard get away with shocking tackles too often because of their reputations as brave British battlers and I don't want Jack to go down that route because I hate horrible tackles from our players as well as the opposition. But I saw no fault in his attitude or his tackling ability this afternoon, if anything I'd have liked the others to follow his lead. Jack was the one shining beacon on a dreary, disappointing day.
...Jack has always been a shining beacon, tbh. Can't think of one game he has not shown desire.
The lads appeared to already be thinking of the summer; a shame seeing that they still had that " slim chance" of silverware and couldn't have known Chelsea would lose to United at the time. Credit to Stoke though. With the form they have been in, it was always going to be a fight.
He is the only one who looked like he was proud of the badge yesterday. The rest of the team showed no or minimal urgency. There were too many players just happy to go through the motions.
Didn't mean to call you flat out wrong Rocky, just that I disagreed. Which I still disagree about the tackle. Two footed studs up challenges are a no-no. You know that, Jack knows that, we all know that. That could have easily ended in a broken leg for Pennant. Those type of challenges are unnecessary, especially in that area of the pitch, and they really could go either way. Last year it didn't go Aaron's way, while this year Pennant was lucky. We criticize the media for saying Shawcross is 'not that sort of player' when it's obvious that he has a history of bad tackles. But we're no better if we can't realise that our young #19 has a history of poor challenges. This is part of Jack's game he needs to work on. I LOVE the enthusiasm and passion but it needs to be channeled correctly. To a certain degree I think Rooney went through the same evolution a few years ago. Jack needs to learn and I think he will.
